...
So big buys trigger new price levels, this is enlightening. Or did you try to convey something else?
You are so smart .. Tongue

I can't imagine early adopters trying to bring the price back down though and if they already didn't sell, why do so now?
Well, because as an early adopter I might hold 50,000 coins in my cold wallet and like to play rollercoaster with about 10,000 coins - play money.

farfetched, if they held it this long it is no longer play money my friend. this is very useful trading capital in a small market. Every move is going to be calculated to maximize the holder's advantage. i also imagine specialists are in this market by now.
You get the wrong end of the stick my friend: The coins in the cold wallet are NOT play money but a retirement plan. The extra 10k are just for playing and gambling with a couple of other early adopters (sitting on a caribbean island, drinking cocktails and sniffing nose candy).

I think you are vastly overestimating the amount of people holding huge amounts such as 50,000 coins. Most of early adopters sold A LOT in 2011. And many sold out for good. So, I think there is only a handful of individuals holding such amounts.
Absolutely right! There's no contradiction to what I said.

it is gambling because you don't know what will happen tomorrow. And everything can happen.

the prudent gambler doesn't care about what will happen tomorrow, if he knows what will happen in 2-5 years
 this is not called gambling.

There is a big difference in holding 300 or 600 coins, guys.
Sure, but if you are 30+ and hold more than 50k coins, you dont care much about speculating. You just lean back and wait a few years  Grin

what if you bought at 90, sold at 80, and missed buying back in at 60-70? it's not as easy as you think!!
If you bought @ 90, why should you sell @ 80? Makes no sense  Roll Eyes

Makes no sense unless you're one of the panickers that sold recently. they wanted to catch cheaper coins. haha it was a bad example but the point i was trying to make is that it's hard to time bottoms and it's hard to time tops. looking back it would've been easy to think that hey, i should've sold at $240, what was i thinking, when at that point you were afraid to lose any upside gains if we were to keep going up, the reason why you held, right?
Panickers are always losing, thats life!
If I bought 10k today @ 90, I'd sell @ 190 at the latest. I wouldn't wait for the bubble burst.

Some people think that if someone invested in bitcoins he is going to keep them. There is no reason for them to do this. I bet they prefer to keep their dollars.
"There's no reason to just keep bitcoins", hahahahaha.
All wrong! If you are 30+ and hold more than 50k coins, you dont care much about btc speculation. You just lean back and wait a few years.

From google maps this building appears to have an underground  car park, with security. Perhaps now MK can drive into work and avoid any demonstrations at the door.

Now is the time to start stacking up altcoins. Well, actually we should have done it a lot sooner.

bitcoin is going to be in a bear market for a while.

Stability maybe will be somewhere around 8 or 900.

Most likely, as the bitcoin civil war continues BTC will continue to lose marketshare and these other coins will keep gaining.

Altcoins aka pump and dump coins? Invented every second with almost the same code. Only new name, logo and a few parameter modifications.

You seem to be stuck in 2013 kid.
Fricking hell man!
So close to keep it above $1250 for so long.
But yet so far!
Dropped down to $998 right now.
Panic selling or what?
It was going ohhh so well for the last month then the bottom fell out of it for some reason.

Actually lost money when i was buying at $1090 cause I thought that was the bottom.
Bought more this morning at $1020 then got f'd again when it dropped literally 5 minutes after buying to below $990. Roll Eyes
A total of $93.97 lost just for trying to buy bitcoin at the drop with in a 12 hour period is very sad for me right now. Cry
