I find it strange that they did not accept the ETF because they could not regulate every bit of it.
How do they regulate all of the gold in the world for the GLD ETF?
They just think they do. Just because there are multiple ways of checking gold's price does not mean that the market cannot be manipulated.
The SEC is just living in a fool's world.
The last 4 years has created a shit-ton on HODLERS. That's all I ever wanted for BTC. An army of them. Mix in a million noobs with FOMO disease, and BAM. 1600
$1600 may not be the peak. If you have enough people with FOMO, $1600 could look like chump change soon.

Right now, there are a few people booking profits. The rest are just buying and holding.
$4905... Next stop, reverse gear to $4500? Take it as my prediction, I don't want that to happen though.

Why would Bitcoin stop at $4905? A lot of people will wait for it hit $5000 before booking profits.
These are psychological barriers. Once we cross them and hold those levels, get ready for another rally.
Yes, I would suggest 70% btc, 10% solid dividend paying stocks, 10% cash, 3% alts, 3% silver, 3% gold and some 1% in collectables
Hm. Depends greatly on the capital at your disposal.
70% allocated in btc is impractical for most billionaires for example...
I also doubt that there is anybody sane with 100mil usd cash.
Nonetheless, I do agree that diversification is probably one of the safest longterm investment strategies.
If billionaires try to allocate a small portion of their wealth to bitcoins, we would go through the roof. It is only a matter of time before the billionaires and wall street firms wade in, and we really take off to the moon.
I am really wondering then this bullish run is over.
Can't grow about 500-1000 USD / month forever ...
Though I would like it to keep going for some time

On the other hand: If 2018 is anything like 2017 there will be a couple of more millionairs on the horizon

That is true. Now I am beginning to dread the fall which will inevitably occur. A lot of weak hands will get shaken out at that time.
I would rather that Bitcoin stabilizes at these levels and then goes up steadily.
