NICE! New stamp ATH is higher than GOX has ever been!

Wow, Stamp touched $275, with Gox at $266.90.

I like how BTCe, Bitstamp, Coinbase, and BTC china are rocketing while Gox is sitting stable....

Why is Gox "stuck" at 266.90?

There's was a big wall at that price on Gox.

I do not want to sound ignorant but what is the "big wall?"

Litecoins are interesting.  Do you guys think it will ever catch up anywhere close to where bitcoin is though?  I was thinking, is it even worthwhile to mine litecoins with a normal gpu?

Absolutely not.  Just spend whatever money/effort you have to spend on coinage and go straight to bitcoin.
If you already own the GPU and it's winter so the waste heat isn't actually waste because you want it then it's worth it

I can agree I use my two 5850 to heat my room, and keep the room nice and warm as I sleep. They are quiet as well so sleeping while making money is a plus. Smiley

Yesterday's crazy roller-coaster ride seems to be straighten today as well as slowed down but we all know there will be more hills, more turns, and more falls in the coming future.

Anyway, back to Bitcoin; I want all the bears that insisted Bitcoin would never break 1k again to realize that the charts lied. There is no way about that. Charts are a shitty crystal ball and you should always be highly skeptical of them in a commodities or stock market that isn't news driven, but in the Bitcoin world all bets are off.

I think the only way to really obtain better-than-random trading odds is to fit an algorithm to the parabolic rallies/crashes, since they usually have "ringing" behavior afterward that can be profitably traded.

Charts never lie.... Its those that sell on rumor that suffer the consequences in this market.

Unlike traditional a trading platform, this market participants have matured to a point where just about everyone tends to get the news at the same time. NO heads up warning as to what the market will do.

"The old Buy on the rumor, sell on the news is a primary cause of technical price developments, and in many instances, the only “technical analysis”"

Edit: Lots of fun is expected over the next few days.

Agree, our roller-coaster ride is on an upward hill with minor dips and turns(on people emotions).

Pennant Formation. Are we ready for a jump in price or drop in price?

4 hours chart for Mt.Gox but other exchanges have a similar trend.

Price has been stabilizing for the pass few days but does this mean we are going to see crazy roller-coaster ride in the near future?

Looking at BitcoinWisdom now (5:55 am CST) there is still no break out but the point is increasing in sharpness. Which way is going to happen up or down?
