You'd be a troll if you thought it was impossible.

Possible != already frozen.

I understand that it's possible and cashing out via Bitcoin and other exchange is a good idea. But now we need to wait for a bottom of bitcoin price

I said "for all we know" which means possible. Like you said getting off Gox is a good idea regardless.

What a bs.

Does anybody really think the FBI can sell all of their coins at an auction? Yea right. And the big money probably won't be interested when it learns WHY the FBI has lost faith in bitcoins. They will be forced to sell on an exchange.

This really depends on how they treat the BTC at the time.

If they consider them to be an object then they will auction them off.
They are no stranger to real estate and high value asset auctions.
This will probably be GOOD for bitcoin both with regard to big money entering the market and also publicity.

If they consider them to be cash then I'm honestly sure what they will do.
I do this this will also be good though and further assert that BTC is a currency.

Now that we are in reverse it is only a matter of time before someone arbs by buying up all the cheap coins on stamp and dump on the higher exchanges. Equilibrium looks above 600 as of now.

You would think someone would do that but the market is going down so it is risky

585$ on Bistamp and it went down as low as 569$

It went down to 550$ on Stamp. Are you blind or a retard?

When you make a wire transfer which your post said you've done.. they put your acc 'on hold' for 1 month.

They're not doing anything other than what they said in their FAQ's.. its sucky.. but its there in black and white.

You should read completely. Quote "7) Deposits through wire transfer. Money hold for more than 1 month. It can be removed by submitting a ticket and providing us with the scans of verification information"
I am verified. They closed the ticket four times, then deleted it entirely.

Why not to a Satoshi? Or to a kg of Gold?

Edit: The only comparison that could make sense (not saying that it does) would be that of good old rpietila who once compared the total supply of BTC with that of Gold. He came up with 300k USD per BTC. I never bothered to confirm his calculation though. In addition the total supply of gold is not fixed. There might be new supplies coming up (new mines on planet earth, some even unannounced; new supplies from outside-world mines; alchemy..).

Permabulls are right. You are not. You fail to see the difference between losing money and making more money than you do.

Plus the risk of really losing when trying to make more. ^^

Blocksize was never meant to be some resource that could be controlled by anybody.

Let Bitcoin scale already.

Make Bitcoin Great Again!

Finally, you make one out of three points that makes some sense.

1mb blocksize limits is the current state of bitcoin.. that is correct, and bitcoin was not meant to be easily changed.  Therefore, 1mb blocksize limits seem to be the status quo going forward until there is some kind of convincing evidence and/or argument(s) that allows for it to be adapted in some kind of way, whether that is through seg wit or blocksize increases or any other "scaling" way forward.
What's your angle?

My angle meaning what?

I already stated what I thought, no?

In essence, I agree with any point that the current bitcoin system is established as a secure decentralized immutable way to store and transfer value.  If what bitcoin "is" is undermined by some kind of centralized system or manipulation or FUD that allows for such undermining of bitcoin "as it is", then that would be problematic.

My angle remains that XT, Classic and now BU are either aimed or have effects that are attempting to undermine bitcoin "as is"... ... so we will see how all of that plays out, and whether bitcoin is going to be able to preserve its value in one form or another regarding a secure decentralized and immutable system that allows for the storage and transferring of value
Okay let's remove any possibility of ambiguity then.

Are you against increasing the transfer capacity of the bitcoin network, yes or no? Just yes or no.
no
So why do you want to stay at the current 1 MB? You can't have it both ways.

First of all.  You edited out my answer.
I made your answer concise as I requested and you ignored. Your victim card is revoked. And look, here I am editing you again!

Yes, that is because of Bitcoin.de.

There was a transaction of 0.01 BTC at 07:28:54 @ 5999.41 EUR. Seems like Bitcoinwisdom is just taking the last Prices of Kraken and Bitcoin.de and divides the sum by 2.

I see we're more than half way back after yesterday's deep correction/profit-taking... currently $4858USD/$6079CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

AltCash continues to slip... currently $313USD/$391CAD (Coinmarketcap).

While a little consolidation is good, I think it's about time we moved on up to a new ATH.

Go Bitcoin go.

Beware of Bitfinex!

I had withdrawn everything from them weeks ago. The writings on the wall...
But still hat to use them to buy Iota (what I recommend to everybody though).

My last Iota withdrawals are still pending, more than 5 hours from approval. Iota transactions are instant.
I have opened a support ticket etc. No reply, of course.

I recommend everybody to withdraw everything from Bitfinex, if still possible!!

Apparently, IOTA is still a bit too BETA for your nerves (or cryptocurrencies in general). Get a grip.

You, Sir, with all due respect, are an ignorant idiot.
Not going into technical details, go figure out yourself. BETA... I shall get a grip?!

On another note: My Iota withdrawal has been pending for well over 26 hours now after approval.
No reply to my support ticket. No reply to my repeated replies to the same. At best they are running a fractional reserve.

I encourage everybody to at least try to withdraw everything from Bitfinex.

But keep tying your personal issue with IOTA/Bitfinex to demanding a full user shutdown of Bitfinex. Talking about fucktard ....  Roll Eyes

Please elaborate on what it has to do with Iota that Bitfinex is not processing my withdrawal. If you cannot see, maybe opening your eyes might help. Every Iota transaction is executed instantly. If only Bitfinex would send a transaction...

I read the white paper. Too much jargon for me to fully grasp but if this sharding thing works with full decentralisation, high Tx throughput and low fees, it could be a blast.

Thanks for taking your time, Wekkel. Might be worth it.

On another note: Apologies for the roughness the other day. Might have been that you were not all wrong about Iota's shortcomings regarding the Bitfinex withdrawals. It was a late night. Peace.

For the Tx throughput please see here: http://explorer.radix.global/

I seriously have high hopes for the Radix project.

Whales are holding tens of thousands of these penny stock shitcoins, and can dump and pretty much margin call you any time they see where your stops are set.

God Fucking Damnit !

right?

these dinosaur nation states are so far behind the technology it really is laughable, just keep it in crypto and wait them out, this empire is near it's sell by date

Just move to Amsterdam. No taxes on gains whatsoever, only 1.2% on the value of what you own at the end of the year. Buy me a beer when you do Bob.
Are you serious? I've been looking for something like that. Canada with its 12.5% for the highest gainers was already very appealing to me, but the ridiculously strict immigration laws and the (at least apparent) amount of SJWs has been putting me off. Some US states looked appealing as well with around 20% for long-term hodls, but all the bullshitting with net neutrality and whatnot doesn't make that country very appealing either (I love the drama, but only from a distance..).

What does immigration to the Netherlands look like and how easy is it to declare your net worth?

Just come to Thailand and relax.

Bitcoin Segwit is not under attack by Bitcoin Cash. Rather, Bitcoin Cash is competing with Bitcoin Segwit in the marketplace.

Then how would you explain such ridiculous terms as "Operation DragonSlayer"? As you can imagine, Bitcoin is the "dragon" here and Bitcoin Cash is its "slayer". Pretty aggressive tone.

Provocative names are used to build a sense of esprit de corps. Would you have felt better if the loosely-organized (more like unorganized) initiative was named 'Operation Enduring Freedom'?
