Actually their price is pretty much equal now. Bitcoinwisdom is still showing the bitstamp price of 20 mins ago.

I believe bitstamp API is down? at least for me it seems to be... I hope I'm not banned or something.

I believe we have a falling knife. I think the shit still has to hit the fan when it's official mtgox is insolvable, bankrupt. I sold most of my bitcoins before it hits major press. Making money was never easier.
Things will cool down when everyone realizes it's only one incompetent company that went down.

I believe stamp might be out of dollars atm because everyone jumped on the 300 wall. Hence why it cant keep up with the other exchanges going up. Prices on other exchanges will have to come down as well now.
