Right or wrong BJA's posts are entertaining.

12 blocks and I'm still waiting to be included in a block.  Mempool 7-8mb  blocksize 1mb

Guess I'll wait  Tongue
I had the same problem earlier which gave me an idea. Well since now only the sender can pay the fee the receiver has to wait until the transaction is added in a block, but what if the receiver could [optionally] add up to that fee so the transaction can move faster if needed. Please correct me if am wrong but i find this cool bcs both parties can actually get involved when things get slow.

I mean is it normal for a transaction to take so long, even if the blocks are clogged or something?
And if so since this transaction is actually a payment from a hot wallet I think am a bit screwed if it
never gets confirmed.

How long has it been? it appears to have been set at "medium priority" with a fee of less than $.02 and a quantity of about $66.  Projected to confirm in 6 blocks, but even if it takes a day, are you in a rush?  Why would you assume that you are going to lose the money, unless it has been more than a day?

Nah it's bcs it didn't happen before [to me] the transaction was done like ~9 hours ago and the payment is from purse. And yeah since it spiked the fees went up and their system didn't re-adjust?
I hope I could adjust the fee like in electrum or blockchain wallets, no matter what though i have cash and other coins so even if it takes 3 days I'll be fine Smiley
Ty for the answer

Edit: @beastmodeBiscuitGravy you're breaking my heart since I pay more than usual in fees when am the sender xD I always thought that the fees amount is what grands you a faster way into blocks

Edit 2: All's fine, woke up under 72 confirmations, guess that blocks are unclogged again Smiley

This tx has such a low fee that it is basically treated as tx spam and deserves to never be confirmed. What wallet are you using?

It's just a regular payment from Purse.io and was sent to blockchain.info
Since this never happened before (I've cashed out more than 95BTC from them) I'll just bash them if it doesn't get confirmed and they
will send another one or something. G night and ty for all the answers Smiley

Localbitcoins and Paxful are some decent places holding the prices up. When people buy at a 10~20% premium I don't see how they would sell bellow their ROI zone, unless ofcourse something bad happens which excluding exchangers hacks never really occurs. Also may I add that sustaining the prices between 560 to 630 since July has also helped form a huge wall forbitting bearish moves for the time being.
For me it's like the 390 to 420 scene we had earlier this year, a big straight line and then a sudden jump up which is quite healthy!

In other news, https://cointelegraph.com/ has lost even the bits and pieces of credibility they had. They just posted an article about how ethereum is the top performing currency in the world Lmao. What troubles me most is what the Clinton campaign has said about Bitcoin and ether(brought up by Wikileaks). What's distributed and free of goverment control is not a good thing for them, but ethereum on the other hand, a CENTRALISED fascist blockchain made up by a junkie in russia is a valuable asset.. People are really showing their real faces nowadays. I'm happy to be a free thinking man and to support Bitcoin in it's whole even if I end up being the last one!

1920$ at preev & I wouldn't call this a "natural growth" I mean c'mon we've been around long enough to see what organic really means (a couple of bucks maybe 10$ per day) but that's something else. I really hope it's a bubble as Bitcoin will stagnate if we fall back to 840$ (in $ terms not in growth) and people will be back to normal (trying to utilize Btc in more areas etc).

Ps: I really hate paying 3$ fees when I want to send just 1$

Are you aware that a $100 rise at this heights it's only a 5% increase in price? Were you around in 2013 when price had swings of around 30% in minutes?

Just saying....

I wasn't lucky enough to be around at 2013 and certainly if I saw 30% ups & downs I would freak out Cheesy
I got to know Bitcoin at November 2015 when it was around 260$ and tried to follow the whole situation up until December 2016, after that point I've been hoping we're going to get back to the 840$ mark (where miners start to profit) somehow like it happened with the first bubble when we landed just bellow the last miners profit mark (420$).

Um I have a theory for the latest correction. Yesterday I read about the busting of AlphaBay and at least one of their admins. The article went on to say that they averaged around 600~800k in sales daily which in my head is a daily support of some 500k. Can this have some correlation with the price or not? I mean getting half a million dollars off table every day is something.
