All this bitcoin drama is making it hard to study. If you didn't know, most American colleges have final exams in mid-late April.
As soon as I saw it rising from 70 a couple days ago, I was all in. I didn't walk away with nearly as many bitcoins as I wanted to, but I still made a slight profit.
I failed one physics exam because of bitcoins..
And now, I'm gonna close all because I have another exam tomorrow and I want to study.

That doesn't matter. They probably will never implement anything bitcoin for all we know. But the fact that he mentioned that they are eyeing bitcoin, true or not, will spark some confidence into bitcoin and boost credibility.
Paypal CEO mentioning bitcoin == positive bitcoin publicity.
OTOH, if you believe in Bitcoin, Paypal will either have to take it on eventually or be eclipsed by someone who does. In this case, this is a very good sign.
I just said that the news weren't as huge as some people said they were. If they said that they pretended to integrate bitcoin by next months/year. That would have been HUGE news. Just a CEO saying they are interesting, no, not huge.
If I believe or not doesn't matter. What matters is if bitcoin suceeds or not. If It does, of course, Paypal will have to take them.. but I'm not man of faith, and even if I have trust in cryptocurrencies, I wouldn't put my hand in the fire for bitcoin.

I think it could be roughly similar to the sell of last summer. It dropped down, climbed up, and then wavered around for months before finally climbing again in November/December.
Yes. It doesn't seem like a fast dip. Maybe faster, but slow anyway. Probably climbing in the Summer, if there isn't any big news that promotes another rally before...
It's the weekend anyway, so almost not volume, not entry of new money, and the typical small dip.. So just speculating small talk.

I don't know him, but certainly I'm almost done. The wall at 120$ and 100$ has been destroyed too fast.. I don't expect it going lower than 80$, with luck maybe even the 90$ wall is not broken. Maybe later from a quick recover, these walls are taken out, but I don't expect it to be this week.

I'm going to start hoarding bitcoins buying BTC with every profit I get trading. If I ever go to less than 50% of the fiat I got now in my account, I will buy BTCs with all this money and get totally out. And if they go low, put more fiat and continue buying.
This last three days fucked like 1/6 of my fiat at MtGox. One sell order that didn't got filled by very little when I was asleep. Then in the morning trying to sell without almost any lose, then the China news...
Fuck, I have only won in fiat, if I still had all the BTCs I would have a lot more money. I suppose that I had to learn the hard way.

If in 2015 BTC is worth 70$.. Well, I don't think rpietila 300k are realistic, but, expect a 70$ in two years is pretty bearish. I would say 300$ as normal easily.

The reason that they don't allow withdraws of BTCs is because of the technical and legal hassle, and the problems with credit card charge backs.
Doubtly they don't have the BTCs, as if there is a bubble, and enought money is inside, they would lost A LOT. Plus there is no reason for them to don't have the BTCs, as they win money with the fees, not stealing you.
Well to be more clear I was looking for low 70's.
And yes, we might not ever get there again. But in 2 or 3 months? Maybe.
I saw the 32$ to 2$ That took months.
I think we are gonna see low 70s soon. The market is very volatile, and goes from bear to bullish very fast.. We did touch the high 70s just two days ago, and maybe without the China news we would have tested the wall. Even if I'm pretty sure if would have resist.
Bad news related to MtGox and CoinLab legal affairs can make the price go down easy. I wouldn't bet anything to BTC going to seventies, or even fifties.

I'm willing to bet that we are going to see 4 digits within a few years, but boy, do most of the newcomers here have unrealistic expectations.
Here's a bottleneck for you "singularity" guys that ultimately limits the height of parabolic rises: Infrastructure. Remember when MtGox had an order queue of up to 75 minutes filled with market sells? Think this can't happen again in some other variation? Think again.
