I don't know whether to be happy about this rise. It is beginning to feel like early April, and we all know how that ended! (assuming that it has really ended, lol).

Does anyone here worry about the concentration of hash power? 6 of the last 7 blocks have been found by BTC Guild. This is beginning to worry me.

Good to have the Winklevii twins on our side. They are probably putting a little bit more of their 120M net worth into BTC!!!

Haven't heard much lately about the MtGox verification queue. Anyone know how backed up they are currently?

I have a feeling most of these verifications are for withdrawals.

Why?

I suspect a lot of people have made profit over the last month and will be wanting to withdraw some of it.

I know I'll be making a withdrawal at some point in the next couple of months. I'll be using a Euro exchange to do it though.

Well, these verifications are either to put fiat in or withdraw it. Any selling in BTC is probably over with.

and gox down

I don't think gox is down. Trading is so slow that it appears to be down! Quite unusual.

one of the most boring bitcoin nights in last few months... volume is like it's nvc, not btc

Can't have insanity every day now, can we?

It's good to have some peace and quiet once in a while!

Seeing a fourth green candle makes me think that we are out of the bear trap. Smiley

Its gonna take at least 7 to convince me.

Everyone needs to watch this Mark Karpeles interview!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LLjlOw3TVc8#!

Key takeaways...
1) Most of the EUR and USD raised during the selloff is still at Mt Gox
2) 5M-20M USD coming in daily, only 300K-1M leaving

How long do USD wire transfer withdrawals to a US bank account take?

I initiated one on the 6th and there is no sign of it in my bank account yet...

I think I got my answer from their faq...

"Wire transfers are currently taking up to 1 week to process due to the volume of withdrawal requests in queue."

Anyone has a personal experience whether this is accurate?

It used to be fun in the "old" days.

Now, every dollar rise in the gox price is another nail in the gox coffin...

I have not heard of Gox having problems processing non-USD withdrawals, then why is Gox (much) higher in
those currencies as well?
