It'd be a comedic trump card.

Needle is showing up on the chart. Any news from Deutsche Bank?

China yuan sinks to six-year low, and possibility of a green light for the ETF
If you look at btc's historical rallies they have coincided with more seriois yuan devaluations - soo with China in another housing bubble, and China wanting to keep suppressing yaun price relative to other Fiat currencies so the country can continue to be a large net exporter nation - it opens up the possibility for global digital currencies, or digital silver or gold to work as a partner to the yuan so that as the people in China become wealthy, they can frontrunner the likely eventual increase in yuan value relative to other Fiat by switching early to Btc and the like.

I would think, however, that such derivative bitcoins would be limited in number (maybe 3-10 times more, but not 100-1000 times more).

Have a look at the BTC trading volume on coinmarketcap and compare it with the blockchain movements for the day. You might get a fright. BTC denominated off-chain trades in derivative bitcoin will probably outnumber actual BTC by hundreds of thousands if not millions.

XD

Good morning WO,s

2018 To forget.
2019 Looks better.

Speaking of Craig Wright - his recent application to the US copyright office related to btc and whitepaper, this is what the US copyright office had to say -

“As a general rule, when the Copyright Office receives an application for registration, the claimant certifies as to the truth of the statements made in the submitted materials. The Copyright Office does not investigate the truth of any statement made,” the Copyright Office wrote in a press release. “In a case in which a work is registered under a pseudonym, the Copyright Office does not investigate whether there is a provable connection between the claimant and the pseudonymous author.”

Anyone can file for a copyright, personally I still maintain my doubts that Wright is Satoshi, it seems unlikely.
