That sounds like the kind of sweet deal that will entice speculators to buy in advance.

Unfortunately, I got a PACMiC contract, so ATM is looks like I may not have much of a choice. Hopefully, Jihan Wu can wait to pull the trigger until after I am fully cashed out.

I think I already did. See my post about the tweet that went out from Wang Chun of F2Pool. If that caused panic it would quickly bounce back because it was likely misunderstood. Now that we have broken back below 1200, it could create the beginning of a short term downtrend though.

These days every exchange has its own price. Weird.

Looks like them panic sellers have been played beautifully once more. There'll be more of it. Try not selling and see where you end up.

Crucial support has been broken around 3800 USD. The 'back to normal' phase is drawing to an end.
The large move down is about to begin, the one that will confirm the bear market in the coming days and weeks.

We will go down slowly to $1500.

This bear market will last for five months.

But even without that, I think Bitcoin has entered a bear market already - with the bubble being ready to pop right now.

It will go down low enough to entice MatTheCat to come back (like $900).  Mat will then all-in.  It will then instantly go to $0.  Everyone reading this knows this is exactly what will happen.

Well my take on the current state of play is like this:

People who had the inside knowledge on what was brewing in China shorted and dumped to induce some fear into the market.

Then starts the FUD, drip, drip, drip. Price goes down accordingly. Then the actual news was confirmed. Down some more. Nom,nom, cheap coins.

Then Jamie Demon, who probably also had the inside line on China has a go. Even cheaper coins. All while the price hasn't gone anywhere near parabolic for this cycle. Banks are scared, with profit and revenue down. To them $180bn is a big fucking pie. Governments are worried too, as we all know. They would all love to see crypto fail. And yet some people still want even cheaper coins, cue more FUD about China banning mining. These people are either playing the long game and don't care if they push it into a bear market, or they think it's gonna moon.

They do. People are fantasizing here, on the /bitcoin subreddit and even in news publications about 1,000,000$ /BTC prices.
How is that not a silly exageration?

Bitcoin going back to $200 in next great correction prior to reaching the $20k range. He counts the waves differently and gets the same pattern each time.

I have been out of the loop for a week or two and I see peeps feeling rather pessimistic about BTCs future short term value.

Such doom, many tears.

As I understand both going down and now going up are news driven... I also suspect something is upcoming...

But I will become more active again when my TenX card arrives.
