Oy vey, $410 support breached! Mah sheckels!
Just saw it. As it dips below this threshold, there will be a lot of people that start panic selling. Emotion is a very powerful element in changing people's opinions, swaying their options towards a certain way.

Well, here's to the new year! We should see an increase after this drops down to a suitable level, driving away the holiday hype.

It's still too early to decide on anything concrete right now. We might not have recovered fully, and can still drop down to <400. Remember that it's possible, so rash decisions can be risky to do at this current point.

At any point, really.

My gut says sub $200 is possible......
Sure. Possible, but it seems pretty unlikely at this current time. The price isn't dropping that badly, it's just jumping around a bunch right now but it's relatively stable.

When it's financially worthwhile to do so, someone will get together the required processing power and buy off the proper authorities and make an honest attempt to steal segwit coins. Whether it succeeds or fails, it will be a big blow to the faith people have in the system (bitcoin in all its forms, authorities, moneyed people (us, even if simply by association)).
But in what scenario would this be viable? Perhaps, if we're at a situation where Bitcoin is seconded by another coin with the same mining algorithm, it would be a way to 'surpass' it (provided the ones doing the takeover had a large enough investment in the second) but this seems like an unlikely event.

When there is enough value in segwit addresses to be worth it. What are you confused about?
1) Steal coins with hash power
2) Everybody finds out and bitcoin is dead
3) Now you have useless coins?

Notice how the cartoon propagandist avoided the topic of physical metals entirely because they know imaginary, valueless, digital shitcoins cannot compete.  Including them in the conversation and pretending shitcoins are better would instantly have people label them as scammers so they just ommitted them.  The result is their picture is nothing but a comparison between Chuck E Cheese tokens and Delta airline miles.  Newsflash:  anything that can be sent digitally has no sustainable value.
If you're going to bring that up, why trade metals at all? Let's go for direct farmer-to-farmer trading because we should only live on intrinsic value.

The BIG blockers have gotten on this kind of Shelby/annuymint  dumb ass talking point for at least a year and a half now, in some kind of desperate attempt to stifle segwit adoption by propagating baloney pie in the scenarios that are largely just nonsubstantiated FUD spreading campaigns.
I love empty 2 GB blocks. Smiley

What people fail to realize is a paid subscription service that copies data hourly from an existing website (http://OpenWeatherMap.org ) and pastes it into BSV blocks accounts for 98.4% of BSV transactions over the past 30 days
Beautiful. That's worth the hundreds in disk space that I have to pay for to maintain my blockchain history. I love keeping track of the weather.

"Wargames" starring young Matthew Broderick.
This movie drilled that line in my head. It also was the reason for me to start messing around with computers as a young lad.

Aryan wannabe - Nazi member r0ach, Editor of the magazine "The Small Penis Society" and founder of "Ilovetosuckdick.com", cannot admit to his Jewish origin & thoroughly mixed bastardized bloodline, but instead trash-posts on WO, busting our balls with dick-less propaganda and whining about the last time a woman talked to him.
Huge strap-on fan. Looks forward to trying the other side of a glory-hole.
The power of the ignore button is great, but so is the entertainment value of watching a hooligan post.

This guy walks into the room everyday drops his pants and sprays verbal diarrhea out of his ass like a rotating sprinkler. Everyday, unprompted, no one appreciates it, and yet he persists. Sure he may juggle flaming chainsaws every now and then while he does it. But we still are left covered in diarrhea.

Him and his like are an easy ignore in my book.
If nothing else you can commend his commitment to vehement vitriol.
