This is the bear graveyard:

I hope so, I've been buying coins lately and am pretty excited. I have kept some cash in case we see more lows but it seems like it has to be close to the bottom. Maybe I am wrong?

Wow!

I'm fairly new to this whole thing and just joined today after buying some bitcoin.

I read through a bunch of this thread and holy shit!
I'm bullish after reading what I just did from here!!

There were a bunch inbetween that were good too but silverfortune seems to kick troll ass . It looks to me like the trolls here are trying to keep the price down by ruining sentiment in this thread at the behest of poweful investors.  I'm going to hold for now thanks haha

My investment portfolio is doing even better than expected, I'm up thousands of $$ today.

How's that bitcoin investment working out for all of you? Just wondering, because from here, it doesn't seem to be going too well.

Let's see. I bought 50 bitcoin last night from silverfuture. He was kind enough to sell me cassius(sp?) physicals for bitcoin. It's not everything I have but I'll make you a bet. One bitcoin says that my 50BTC worth of physicals will be worth more than your entire portfolio within one year. I'm willing to escrow, but I want proof of your holdings and am willing to provide the same. The future looks bright and the 5 year charts for bitcoin seem stellar Cheesy
Silverfuture made a lot of money just by cpu mining and holding for a long time. I can't say how much but let's just say I'm envious.

Sorry, but I don't make random bets with people online, which is probably one of the reasons that I have accumulated a large amount of wealth over the past several years and you bitcoiners are mostly underwater with your digital funbux.

Not that I believe your 50 bitcoins will be worth jack shit in a year, but why bother? I make good investments, and bitcoiners make bad ones. All I need to do is keep doing what I've been doing and I make money. That's much simpler than dealing with some online escrow service.

So a guy making thousands of dollars per day investing is afraid of making a little 240$ escrowed bet just because I'm newb? You don't sound very sure of your position. Cheesy   Let's just make it a theoretical bet with no money and just lollllling rights then, pussy. Game?

Since this is a BTC forum, someone just might be dumb enough to make bets with a brand-spanking-new Anon (who's probably silverfuture's sock).

Seriously tho riiiiising, don't do it--these Bitcoiners are wily, they'll rip you off soon as say howdy Angry

I've seen your trust rating even before silverfuture smacked you down so why should I trust you when no one else does?  He seems to be a great guy in person and I did a deal with him that I am very happy about. He sold me physicals and aslo a lenovo laptop that he professionally wiped and put a linux distro on to save me from suckerfish or whatever you call it.  I'd consider him a friend but you are just yukky. ewww! He told me to be very careful of scammers.

I'm never gonna retire. I want to always have at least a part time job when I graduate (hopefully next year).

I'm not going to retire either. I've see people who do and they get old fast. I'll always have some project or another on the go. I'm hoping to be a philanthropist some day.

It's dumb to bet in bitcoin if you're the bear, because if you win, you get a bitcoin worth less than it is now, and if you lose, you lose a bitcoin worth more than it is now.

He could just buy it with the thousands in profit he is enjoying everyday with his winning trading strategy[tm] and he would only lose 240.00(smallpotatoes for such a bigshot). He would be risking a pittance to actually hold one of the things his big brain told him is going to tank anyway and would have braging right to tell me "Itodaso!" for lels.  Anyway I told him just for bragging rights so why is he too pussy to even do that. whattamaroon!

Let's say the price is 250, and the choices are 150 up or 150 down. He pays 250 for the bitcoin. Bitcoin goes to 100. He gets a $100 bitcoin from you, and keeps a $100 bitcoin, for a $50 loss. If it hits $400, he loses his $250 that he paid.

Makes absolutely no sense to make the bet using your method, since he loses either way.

Now let's say he doesn't buy the bitcoin. Bitcoin goes to $100, he makes $100 from you. Bitcoin goes to $400, he loses $400 to you. In this case, at least there is the chance for profit, but he is laying you 4:1 odds on what you're trying to represent as an even-money bet.

It's only 240.00 either way and even offered to just be just theoretical. He seemed so confidence before.

You will be a great philanthropist one day. The man who took from poor dumb fucks that invested in a pyramid and gave to other poor people.

So what charitble things do you do? Got a lot of good things to share with the less fortunate do you? Investing in new economic tech isn't ponzi. do you even google bro?

The buyers at the auction will probably hold on to the coins for awhile

They are a lot more likely to hold than exchange users IMO.  The fears of them dumping on exchanges are pretty silly really.

Was waiting for 355, but will take some profit now and wait for lower prices or a clear direction in the next week to take a clear position.

Next support level is around $255, wait till the price goes there.

Yeah, I'm going to wait and see which way the wind blows on this one. I don't think we are going down more but I could be wrong.
