Btw, this is the last day when we see $95 EVER, you can quote me on that.

And quoted.
Wonder if that will ever go explained, because I've seen $95 (and lower) now so many times in the last 24 hours....
Explanation ... he's full of shit and talking his book
He seemed fairly sure that if it hit 95 it would then drop to 73

That Baidu search volume has data from 2008, which is impossible for Bitcoin. So the "exploding" part is meaningless.
Isn't there a better search term in Chinese which actually means "Bitcoin"?
Only 40% of Chinese families have a fridge. Under 10% own a car. 1000 searches by people in China adds up to one American 12 year old boy googling Bitcoin. About the same buying power. If China is going to save Bitcoin, just shut it down now we're screwed.

China has had a HUGE impact on the price of gold, and the American Dollar. If they are considering holding BitCoin by the government that would be enormous. If it is Chinese Phishermen, not as big, but still big.

If you think the Chinese Govt is going to embrace and buy a currency they can't control, you're drunk. They already crippled one digital currency. They don't even let people search the internet. They're the last Govt who will let people own an untraceable mostly anonymous currency. Come on. You really think the Chinese Govt is going to buy up Bitcoins? Stop drinking, get to bed.
They can't control the dollar and they bought the shit out of it. They can't control the price of gold either. The government buying it and the government allowing the people to buy it are two very different things.

You guys should show him a little more respect, he is a supernode after all.
"[...]I am currently buying bitcoins, not much care about the price [...]"
Forgive me if the question is absurd, but you've mentioned you were "all in" when the price was somewhere in the 130s. Is there an alternate meaning to "all in" on this forum, and it's possible to continue buying while being "all in"

He bought all the bitcoins, of course.

So it projects that the price will top out around $125 and start to fall after that?
It doesn't project anything, it reports what has happened, and what is happening.
We haven't reached $125 yet so how do you interpret the significance of the "cliff" at that point?
A lot of people have asks in at around $125, and have for some time.

Looks like I was wrong about $120 and $125...or did someone actually dump a lot of coins around that price?

(I've been asleep, good morning)
We haven't hit 125

[...] or leaves me with $220k funny money, and my remaining bitcoins valued at $300k/BTC in October, 2013.
Lol. Go take an anti-delusion pill.
It should be obvious that anyone *really* believing the cruft you write wouldn't be selling, at any time, ever, for whatever reason.
Ergo, you don't believe this crap yourself.
I dunno, a ride up to 300k is gonna be a bumpy ride.

Something feels off about that rally, reminds me of something similiar that happened april 28-30 from 125 to 145. I guess i have my tinfoil hat on, but it really does look manipulated.

It was pretty clearly manipulated. All those moving walls.

Anyone interested in puts?

As you might know by now, I want to buy bitcoins, and what would be a better way to buy them than giving others permission to sell at lower than current price
and net the margin. Worst scenario would be to just net the margin..
Imho, we will see either 110 or 102, one before the other. Prepare accordingly.
Can you explain what you are offering? I have read a bit about puts and they don't make a lot of sense to me.

put and call options are quite complicated...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Put_optionyeah, I read that article, it looked like it was making it more complicated than it needed to be but i wasn't certain.

If you believe that bitcoin might go down a lot, you sell, and buy back cheaper.
If you are not sure, it may go down or not, but that is not certain, and you don't want to sell eg. for tax reasons, you buy a put.
For example, now I would sell you a $100 put for
BTC.200.
MP is selling it
for BTC.330 currently so you get it cheaper from me.
Put is my obligation to buy bitcoins at the strike price, no matter how low they go in other venues such as Mt.Gox.
This put above is current until end of June, and may be exercised any time before.
BTC100 face value OK (I want to try even this one time thats why I lowered the minimum).
So you pay me
BTC20, and your
BTC100 will never be worth less than $10,000 until the end of June. Sleep well!

That makes sense. I'm fairly confident they'll be WAY above 100 by the end of June, but thank you for explaining that.

Looks like someone pressed the "Oh he's just bought in, let's drop the price by 4%" button again.
Seriously, it happens every time.
I hate that, happens to me too. It'll follow the same pattern for like 3 cycles, I'll buy in and it'll drop more. Or I'll sell at what looks like peak and it'll go up.
Fortunately for me that tends to only be immediately, and an hour or so later i am still coming out ahead.

$1M usd disappeared today from the order book.
We may see cheap coins soon

The speculation game seems a lot like warfare. Did the army actually withdraw, or did they want to make you believe they withdrew before attacking?
All I know is that the $1m that was removed was at under $50 USD.
Could have removed it to wait and put it back in higher.

It can last weeks.
That's not very long in the grand scheme of things.
I beg to differ. Confidence is about knowing we won't tank. Compare with 2011. We're doing pretty good.
And what happens if we do tank?
Don't be all in or all out. If we tank than use your cash to pick up more shares. If we go up then at least you don't have to buy in later 2X as much.
I know this is a speculation thread but we shouldn't really lose sight of the point here. It isn't about making money per say. It is about helping a new money to get a foothold. It is about being an early adopter to a revolutionary and risky idea. I'm cool with all that.
So, instead of what others find to be a good entry point, make that decision for yourself. All I have to look at is the current "float" - 11 million is nothing. That is worth taking a chance over.
IF we do succeed then these prices will seem like nothing (do the math regarding the float). If we don't succeed then I'm sure we still took part in one of the greatest experiments in recent history. Think about that - governments and wealthy individuals have always controlled money. This is the first step away from that (that I can think of). Still nice to say, years from now, that you tried to do your part to change things. And if things really take off, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that it is truly all about sharing. I'm game when that time comes, we are all in this together.
I'm afraid I can't see that. Yeah, it makes money for people, but it makes more money for people who have more money. This shifts some of that control around a bit, but it isn't revolutionary in that way. It is revolutionary in that it allows people to trade without involving fiat. That potential isn't realized yet, but it is there. The potential to make it all about sharing? Not so much.

best wishes reptilia, but seriously, I don't know what to think about you... you are quite the enigma and I'd rather not be a part of your melodrama.
Despite the fact that about $100k is scammed from me annually, plus I lost 1,100,000m
BTC two weeks back and possibly more last week, the following statement is true:
"I have never possessed the private key to any less than 2,400,000mBTC nor any more than 35,000,000mBTC, at any time since the beginning of 2012."I guess that puts me on the map. I think I was among the wealthiest people in the summit.
enjoy
The way he phrases this he would not be lying if he, in fact, has no bitcoins at all, as he would never have possessed the key to less than blah blah because he would never have possessed the key to any at all.
