Finex is getting irrelevant.
When Gemini (with derivatives) goes live Finex will be history in few weeks.
Gemini will have pretty though KYC into place, i doubt that alot of traders switch from Finex to Gemini.
Finex with all their technical problems just looks like gox 2.0.
I doubt that a lot of traders will STAY on finex.

If it takes to pay a coffee with cash in order to keep BTC serious, I'm all for it.
"in order to keep BTC serious" as what, exactly? Surely not money?
Not consumerist money.
Would you pay with silver coins your frap-thing?
"Consumerist money"? What's that?
I guess all the hype about bitcoin being "the fastest, cheapest way to transact," "currency of the internet," is just that? BTC is not money but a store of value (a role which it hasn't been super good in for the last couple of years)?
people are CONFUSED by the blocksize limit. people trying to rationalize a 7TPS monetary system holding value, the NEED to believe in bitcoin value is very powerful!
bitcoin has always been about building a new monetary system which exist as a ghost outside the machine, accessible to all, anywhere anytime. don't worry, we will have our cake and eat it too, block size will increase and so will full node count, and it will be <5cent a TX and there will be totally free trustless "micropayment channels" and we'll have side chains processing stock market trades / smart contracts in a transparent and super fast irreversible irrefutable manner
give it 2 years
BAM 32,000$
In 2 years I will be very rich then. May this be the case.
2 years ago he predicted the same high figures, didn't end that well.

People really need to stop being ignorant and childish. Every increase in price is not a 'pump' and every decrease is not a 'dump'.
miners have to unload their 3600 coins per day at some point...
Yes.
miners attitude has changed over the years.
todays miners are not bitcoin-enthusiasts anymore, they sell their coins as fast as they can. therefore the halving will be a big fucking kick in their ass.
Demonstrably false.
why?
Because the largest solo miner, for example, has publicly said they don't sell their bitcoins.
There are numerous other instances where this has been proven wrong.
and there are numerous other instances where this has been proven right. i remember knc selling their shit as soon as possible. i also remember a documentary about some chinese farm. they were also selling as fast as they could. giving a shit about what the actual underlying of their business was.
edit: i would love to do some analyzing here, were the fresh coins go. but so far i had no luck finding that out.
So finally you admit, that you have no idea what miner really do with the fresh coins.

BitcoinInternet makes the MMM scam global and more difficult to stop.
The tiny difference is that no one .gov is trying to convince Brazilians to "invest" their money in reals; quite the opposite. And no one is promising that the real will "go to the moon" -- like Andreessen, Silbert, the Winkles, and all other bitcoin peddlers are doing.

Sub 20mil$ in longs on Bitfinex! Yet we continue to go up and there is really a lot of money on Bitfinex waiting to get used for longs

I guess maybe a push to 400$ is in.
Probably because Bitcoin is currently safer than leaving your money in a bank. Instead of negative interest rates, you'll probably gain 50% or more off current price from halving.
I guess most of us agree that Bitcoin has a lot of potential, but this kind of delusional shit is just hilarious.

see you all sub 300 suckers!
Ok, so we're going up then.
CHOO CHOO!!!Edit: TBH I think we might see a slow bleed or sideways for a couple of days. A lot of the traders the wales are trying to communicate movements to are probably busy with figuring out how the latest terrorist attacks will affect commodities and stocks. France is probably going to war. They might try to get other NATO countries with them as well.
Edit 2:
"Hollande said the attacks were “an act of war" committed by the Islamic State group’s "terrorist army”."http://www.france24.com/en/20151114-paris-attacks-president-hollande-act-war-islamic-state-group-terrorism-franceThat kind of language has a specific meaning. They're communicating that they see the conditions for invoking NATO's Article 5 as being fulfilled.
Watching another false flag unfold right in front of our eyes is kind of surreal. TPTB know to use mass psychology very well.
“A history of false flag attacks used to manipulate the minds of the people! “In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations, and epochs it is the rule.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche
NWO unfolding.
Everything is a false flag for crazy nutjobs.

I think that there will be a series of dumps cause by the black Friday/cyber Monday sales. Many early adopters, who don't earn very much with their day jobs, used their coins to buy cheap stuff and now Bitpay needs to unload.
That was a pretty half azz thought pattern.
Any Bitcoin super early adopter is a technology freak that wants the best, nicest, most powerful thing around, you know the stuff that costs money. They aren't buying cheap, trashy, 1ghz athlon netbooks off holiday sales. Even if the stuff they wanted was on sale for Black Friday, they aren't waiting until Black Friday to buy it!
That was an even more half azz thought pattern tho.

i think when the usd goes down (finally gives up the ghost) that bitcoin will go with it. one gold coin will equal 32,000 bitcoins. that would give bitcoin and average price of about $1000.00, or roughly equal to 1/5 oz of silver.... thats *IF* anyone even wants bitcoins at that time. maybe since no one can send gold and silver through the internet. however, with the "blockchain blacklists" we still have to see how that works out.
try to cross a border with a substantial amount of cash or PM and then you will get why bitcoin is the ultimate SHTF plan.
Ultimate? It's still a public ledger you are talking about.
Bitcoin might not be the worst option, but it is far from being the ultimate solution for your SHTF scenario.

all commodities are down, except of course...... bitcoin. ... that says a lot in itself. when the dollar finally gives up the ghost, and it will eventually, then value of bitcoin will collapse in purchasing power as compared with the new currency while metals will soar:
"The economy is collapsing. This is evident from the ongoing crash in commodities, especially the price of oil and natural gas. The consumer is tapped out." Retail Sales: It’s Going To Be A Slaughter -
http://investmentresearchdynamics.com/retail-sales-its-going-to-be-a-slaughter/bitcoin is not tied to the US$ in any way whatsoever ... that's just borked thinking right there.
take a look at all the other global trade of btc in europe, south america, eastern europe, asia ... when the currency markets collapse and banks lock up a la greece people will use whatever money they can
i disagree... bitcoin is valued in fiat currency. when fiat currency collapses what will bitcoin be valued in ?? 1 bitcoin will equal what ??
greece was still able to value their bitcoins in usd and euros. that will not be the case in the currency collapses.
So you assume that all fiat currencies collapse at the same time? I doubt it.
Fiat currencies collapsed in the past and they got replaced by - surprise - fiat currencies.

If buying BTC is like buying stocks (which is what you seem to suggest), then these stocks represent nothing beyond your hope that someday, someone will be stupid enough to buy these 'stocks' from you.
Capital driving economic growth, how does it enter into this?
Which part is capital, USD spent on your
BTCeanies BTC, or the BTC itself?
That's not at all what I meant. I talk about shares of a corporation , they do represent
ownership of a

Right. You're buying shares of a corporation which does nothing but print its own shares, albeit extremely inefficiently (mines BTC).
You are buying these shares in hopes that a greater fool will eventually buy them from you.
You know what that's commonly called?
Actually I'm buying shares of corporations which do produce cars, computer, tablets and a lot of other products.
You are still the only one comparing Stocks with Bitcoin.

Explain this shit:
Good point. Because everyone wants to use a currency they can't use because it doesn't work

yea right who the he'll wants stocks you can't useThat's not what I wrote.
I wrote "You don't understand stocks much do you?"
Simple explanation: I thought you meant actual shares of a corporation.

the guy who sold his house for bitcoin last year is about to break even!
Well, well, well... I am back for an update.
Originally (in Post #1) sold my house for approximately $400,000 Canadian, and got approximately 648 BTC in the transaction. BTC is currently at approximately $450 US each. This makes my investment worth $291,600 in U.S. Dollars. Now also note that the Canadian Dollar has tanked really hard in the last year and is now at a 12 year low, around .72c US. That makes my Bitcoin currently worth $405,000 Canadian!. I am currently up on my initial investment! I did weather the storm when it sat at $200 for a long time (and crapped my pants from time to time and did a lot of drinking), but now my time has come. For all those that laughed, we will see who is laughing in 2016!
HODL!
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year,
Tay More
good to hear that he hasn't panic sold

wow! that is ballz of steel.
Because the Canadian dollar has also been taking a beating over that time as well he probably broke even a while ago in regards to the value in Canadian dollars that his house was worth
He is well aware of the Canadian dollar decline, dunno what you are talking about.

Really the technical analysis works to foresee the future bitcoin price? I don't think so, and there is an increasing number of specialist that consider the technical analysis as a set of superstitions and subjective beliefs rather than an objective method to understand the market behavior.
No.
MOST people try & fail to predict the price that way. Anybody can draw lines on a graph & say that's what is going to happen to the price.
TA can't predict pumps caused by major mainstream news or whales mesding about with the market.
If everyone sees the same pattern it kind of becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.

Bitcoin ETF approval within 5 months.
A new exchange traded fund designed to track the price of Bitcoin may be on its way to market. New paperwork has been filed with the SEC for the new ETF, titled Solid Bitcoin Trust, according to reports from ETF.com.
SolidX Partners Inc. says the Bitcoin within the ETF will be insured in case of theft, destruction or computer fraud, with the Bank of New York Mellon acting as custodian.
The new fund requires a rule change filing with SEC by the carrying exchange, due to Bitcoin’s status as a new asset type. The fund will kick off with an initial offering value at around $1 million.
Approval is pending based on the approval of the rule change filing; a precedent has since been set by the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF, which the infamous brothers filed for on June 30. It’s anticipated that fund will receive approval by the end of 2016, with the SolidX ETF receiving approval by early 2017.
http://www.wealthprofessional.ca/news/etfs/new-bitcoin-etf-on-its-way-to-market-211198.aspxWasn't the Winklevoss ETF supposed to be approved by 2014? Then again by 2015? Now by the end of 2016? I keep hearing the same thing every year... what's different this time?
Also, didn't the Winklevoss release their ETF called Gemini? Or is that just an exchange? I'm so confused because I've been hearing about the same ETF for the last 2 years and nothing changes
Did someone promise you something too?
Try a little harder with your nonsense.
By now, even the biggest of idiots have figured out that Gemini is an exchange and an exchange is different from an ETF.
We could have given you a pass for these kinds of questions a year ago (when Gemini first came out), but a year later, come on?
What nonsense you stupid motherfucker the Winklevoss ETF has been in the news as "soon to be approved" since 2014, I'm just asking how this news is any different.... it's the same shit over and over again. If I remember it was supposed to be approved by the end of 2014
Why are you so pissed, you on your period? Don't ever talk to me like that again bitch boy
Well that escalated quickly.

Did you sneeze yet m8,lol , this is only the begining, crypto looking like a joke as i said before. Creating coins out of thin and doubling a billion $ supply and then exchanges allow this asset to be sold will ob have an effect on BTC.
I see $500 incoming as the struggle to $560 is almost over.
Hope you didnt lose anything at finex and if you wana be safe, go cold or use an exchange that doesnt sell etc...( theres a loop that is being used to drain btc btw )
Yeah sure a loop.

That was a nice pop. Next target $1350?
Edit: 2018 target 1 BTC= Dow Jones
So... <10k, or 100k? I doubt it (DJIA) will be anywhere near 20k in 2018.
So.. the Dow either crashes >50% or surges 500% in a year ? seems legit.

Huobi price chart, I think support at 7000 and resistance 7500 to beat. March declining trend beaten, if we fail support meeting that old trend at 6600 would be a short term target to stabilise/observe price reaction
Who gives a fuck about Huobi?
