have sold some btc. it was a sacrifice for my fellow forum members.

price may explode now.

The fed raised its interest rate by 0.25% today as expected. That might make the price explode. The news will take 24 hours to hit the whole world. Lets's see what China makes of it when it wakes up in 4 hours.

Why? interest rates raised means the dollar is stronger, not worthless bitcoins that don't buy shit.

Will be interesting to see what Yellen does tomorrow. 0.25% rise expected, which will upset the Chinese and prompt further outflows of money using your favourite vehicle for avoiding capital controls. Question is whether it's priced in, or whether it will knock BTC decisively through resistance.

BTC is holding up remarkably well against the dollar.

It's a miracle. How long will it last?

Its a sign of things to come.  BTC has matured, next stop 10k.

All I know is there is no f'g way I'd buy a $777 bitcoin. Would you?

Let me put it this way: if you didn't care if bitcoin was going to rise in the future, would you buy now? if not, which I'm sure is the case and bitcoin has very little use case, then you are playing with fire. It's gonna crash, because it's only a speculation toy.

Speculation asset which has some major financial players interested.  This bull run will be epic.

As will the crash, IF the epic bull run happens.

if i had a need for it or believed it was going to go considerably higher then sure. is this type of trolling really still a thing? it's kinda cute but i think we're nudging past that phase now.

So I assume you are all in on bitcoin? I doubt it somehow.

if i would be new to the game and have no bitcoin at all i would definitely invest into bitcoin right now and buy at $777.

That's a bullshit answer. Buy now with everything you got or stfu. That goes for all you bulltards.

I'm still here.  Grin Bitcoin is the biggest scam in human history. It may go much higher, but when it crashes it will create the biggest losses ever. Warren Buffet has said there is no value in bitcoin. You think you are smarter than the greatest fundamental trader in history?

Yes, and I did the other day and will again within a week. At a 5% discount because localbitcoins. And then I flipped them on kraken and made a nice little instant, and risk-free, profit.

Now, why would you dare to sell bitcoins if they are headed for thousands in value? let me guess, you want more dollars.

bitcoin rise is great if you sell when high, not wait until it's too late - then the rise meant nothing.

I just heard that quote: "If you've not been throught a crash with BTC then you are not a Bitcoiner yet."

I guess I am becoming a Bitcoiner. Cool.  Grin
It can drop more... I am not scared at all.

By the end of summer we will be back at $2900. And looking UP.

Let me guess, you are all in with .05 btc?

Fuck you idiots, this shit is going much lower - don't listen to this noise.
Wow your enthusiastic, just not sure about what  Grin

Take another hit off the crack pipe, and deal with reality later (I guess)

The reality is that when Monday came around, some of the bulls and "bargain" hunters had their bank wires come through to refuel. I certainly hope that you didn't try to short this on Sunday...

Lets watch and see what happens you stupid bastard who can't read a chart.

Guys, look at the mess the global economy is in then look at robotics and artificial intelligence set to destroy 40% of current jobs in the next 10 years. Ffs buy guns and ammo, this shit will get real pretty soon and nobody is going to care how many bits of corn you have on your 'puter.
I've had some to drink tonight it's true, but the future is fucking terrifying.

Why even sell for fiat if you don't need it? just hold there's no point in cashing out. This will kill the returns of any retirement account or ira over time.

I'm frankly starting to get a new kind of trouble with where prices are going. Used to be I had to Do Stuff to Get Money from Others. Now I'm closing in on true financial independence. And I have no idea where to go from here.

Hold and hope the world doesn't fall apart. The higher btc goes the more indication is the world economy is fucked.

Now you get to sit down and ask yourself: What Do I Really Really Truly Want to Do with My Life? *

Take all the time that you need composing your answer. Then go do it.

* as opposed to what the Masters have been telling you that you Should Be Doing

I've already decided that I'll move somewhere warmer for half the year, like Florida, Texas, or Philippines, study computer science full time, and start giving back to Bitcoin and related projects.

Life's short, don't start thinking you have "made it" you will die soon of a heart attack from boredom.

I bet there are quite a few bitcoin millionaires sitting quietly on the sidelines right now who will be (or are already) of similar mind, silently contemplating how to help crypto reach its full potential to make the world a better place.

Yeah, they will be going back in as fiat becomes worth less than crypto. This saga isn't going to end for newbies or old timers. This is a life changing technology.
