Dang, sounds pretty bullish in here. Are we about to get dumped on?

Finex being suspiciously slow in crediting BCH balances:

https://www.reddit.com/r/bitfinex/comments/6rq8ua/20_confirmations_for_bch_deposits_really_bitfinex/

They aren't acknowledging network confirmations at anything like the network is showing - as well as apparently moving BCH from addresses credited to.  Playing with client money?

Very odd. I've been hearing complaints about this all day now. Could they have some interest in temporarily holding up the price? Seems unlikely. Could they have screwed up in splitting the coins, or in setting up their wallet infrastructure, and are scrambling to assess the damage?

They're probably using this time to sweep the BitCH coins from their deposit address to exchange (hot) wallet.

But still, some people are saying the block explorer is showing 15+ confirmations while Finex shows only 3. That is outrageous.

Yeah, given that the network has stabilized a lot, this doesn't seem right. Almost 100 blocks have been mined in total, and difficulty has adjusted downward significantly. I just hope they didn't royally screw something up and manage to lose bitcoins or something...

I’m ready for a little running of the bulls.

I was feeling bullish until we got hammered down at the head-and-shoulder neckline. I suspect I'll be closing the chart for a while, hodling strong through some carnage. Would love to be proven wrong.....

This is some nasty whipsaw action. I got stopped out of my last long. Sitting on the sidelines now. I'm leaning sort of bullish still but I'm not gonna risk getting my stops run again until bulls are more decisive.

Which cryptos?  Bitcoin?  or something else?

It's not specific:

The number of verified users of cryptocurrencies almost doubled in the first three quarters of the year even as the market bellwether Bitcoin tumbled almost 80 percent, according to a study from the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance. Users climbed from 18 million to 35 million this year.

I thought yesterday's dump was a major local top but bulls are showing some resilience. I guess this might just stay sideways for a couple days and keep pushing higher.

I'm still skeptical about these bubble projections though. I think the next year will look more like 2015-2016 than 2017. Too early....
