Coinbase is the worst. They hold and cancel tx as they please, all so they can profit as much as possible. It's no different from robbery.

Its a crash, but I dont think it will provoke a multi-year bear market. Theres still bitcoin mania in the news, and massive demand. Due to the holiday, people will not be buying it too much, but by mid-January it will be back to normal.

The bubble already took into account all that news and mania.

96% is a crash.  50% is a swing. We have now lost two week’s gains. We could gain it all back in a week or we could go down a bit more.

This was a normal Fib retracement. WTF I guess the noobs can't hang with the fluctuations of the Bitcoin.

Yeah, like BTC follows FIB....

Look, when the whales begin to believe that the bull market has ended, it's going to go below $5k. Their going to want to take profit. The next bull run might not even happen for 10 years, if at all. Sure next bull run will enter the andromeda galaxy, i'd say >$300k, but that is IF it does even happen.

I post that chart because I know some of you are going crazy about the bitcoin 10.21% ... is it a bubble or not..
Well let's make this straight... if you think this kind of price action isn't typically a bubble.. then you need to review your classics !
Of course this is a bubble ! The only question is when is going to burst.. That's a tricky question.. and trying to short a bubble require quite some experience.

Every trade need a technical background to support the scenario (otherwise it's just random betting.. and that's gamble.. not trading).
Using my mighty couple of indicators, PRO Sinewave & PRO Momentum, here's what I have :

We can clearly highlight 5 sell signal (confirmed by both Sinewave & Momentum). These will obviously act as resistances during the technical bounce that we may see next.
AND I SAID "MAY SEE" because so far there's not a single sign of bullish support on Sinewave and neither on Momentum.
Finally we can add the "BEAR TREND" confirmation that showed up when things started to get a little nastier !
Which means that until we manage to break a resistance, we're still bearish in term

I think my bearish outlook is coming to life. You know that "scribble" that I made. Seems like it will hit major resistance at $18000 mark or less, and bounce down....

I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but Windows 10 isn't so bad.

Granted, I "modified" my OS so it doesn't auto update, and turned off all the suspect "malware / spyware". I confirmed it with network tools and wireshark and ethernet sniffers. Nothing in or out (not even encrypted unless I was using tor or a VPN).

Of course, I don't use IE. I just use Windows as the OS, everything else is an app ... firefox, bitcorns, gpg ... all free too. Got the license from school.

So windows 10 has malware/spyware that comes with it? And it's not safe to use without the modifications you mentioned?

I think regulation will keep BTC honest. The bitcoin bubbles were truly counterfeits imo, because of unregulated businesses. It's human nature to freely take if the opportunity arises. All these bitcoin businesses and exchanges have been doing that pretty much; ie stealing.

There is no way Bitcoin will function as a currency, and as a commodity it will just function the same as other commodities.

Huh??

now you gettin it

just like every other scam (fiat, forex, stocks, gold, silver) out there

now play it

check your scam coin, check the charts, fundamentals etc etc etc

just like the other markets, play it the same way

everything points to it not being at the top yet

trade well

ensure to play the scam, this is how wealth is accumulated.

Yeah but the philosophy behind Bitcoin isn't to play the game, but to hodl forever. People, besides people like myself (who's been extremely lucky), just don't profit trading bitcoins. Only hodlers profit.... that is until they don't profit which likely spells the end.

Bitcoin hasn't seen a good dump in ages. Look at these bigshot investor types with their sneaky partitioned 2000 coin buys and 100 coin walls. What do they think they're doing. They really think they can continue to hold up bitcoin like this. They think they have the float locked and everything is about these 20,000 coins on the exchanges. Just wait till the whales and the early adopters come with the sheer force of 100,000 or 2,000,000 coins hitting the market. They wont know what hit them.

It used to be that 900 individuals owned like half of all bitcoin in circulation....

These articles were actually a lot more genuine in the past, when the columnists brought up legit questions or simply admitted they didn't understand.
