Seriously, why does China seem to love positive US bitcoin news better than the US?   Roll Eyes

Good question. We are trying to partially answer that through real time monitoring widget.

Check our app this is the alpha release. heartbit.io/app

We went under 600$ but after all it is only -5% in a week ...

It seems that China has the highest volume right now

http://heartbit.io/app

The question is to know if we are at the beginning of a reversal here but looking at good news like Dell or Alienware adoption it seems unlikely.

Since last year, China always had the largest volume by far.  Your app ignores Huobi (had about 14000 BTC volume yesterday), OKCoin (26000 BTC), and other large Chinese exchanges.  It is about as useful as a stock market survey site that ignores NYSE, NASDAQ and FTSE.

Quoting Chinese exchanges in a volume comparison is meaningless, since 0 fee structure falsifies true volume.

BTCChina is meaningful. It never cheated with its volume. This is not the case for huobi or OKcoin.

BTCHINA is legit.

I always wanted tsomething like that on bitcoinwisdom, but to know the total trade volume in some interval.

The weighted average price (in log scale) in the interval may be interesting too:

  exp( SUM { k : vol(k)*log(price(k)) } / SUM { k : vol(k) } )

where vol(k) and price(k) are volume and price of tansaction number k, and the sums range over the transactions in the selected time interval.

I think we can add that within a week, our system is really flexible. Do you see other features you would like to have ?

Can you make it self aware and connected to the singularity ?  It should look something like this with quantum superposition held in a super stasis displaying all possible states of flux of the BTC price? oh and with some sort of choo choo variable  that e-mails me before each and every great buying dip?  something like that anyway

Think you could get that up n running by the end of the week?

Lol. Yeah sure , give me 10min =D.

I keep the idea of and email alert based on some choochoo variable Smiley

Thank you for your feedback.

I've been consistently wrong pretty much all year now.  Grin

So please just go and predict a dump down to the 300s and get the train started Cheesy

BtcChina and bitfinex are driving the price according to the volume.

A scrollbar for the graph

I meant Huobi and OKCoin.  Like an overview of the stock market that leaves out NYSE and NASDAQ, because "they are in the US so their volume is distorted".  But that has been discussed already...

We are them adding next week. But volumes seems to be more or less fake so those elephants may be dwarf elephants . Nonetheless those are important exchanges.

Huobi has more volume than Bitfinex though.   It's China that leads other exchanges mostly.

Not really, huobi and okcoin have mostly fake volumes. Biggest platform are bitstamp&bitfinex then btcchina. Not saying that huobi and okcoin has to be ignored (we are adding them very soon ) but their volumes has to be taken as half fake.
