The price has been stuck between the denial and fear phase for too long. I'm still waiting for desperation and fear..
This, my buys are in the $310-$320 range. Usually before a big climb there is a crazy crash right before. And if I miss it...meh, that's all good too.
Though we have been through so many different reasons why Bitcoin is going to fail and reasons why Bitcoin is going to the moon that I'm not sure what sort of news could do either.
I don't believe there will be any "news" that will spark a rally or crash. Except for the ETF. I'm not sure why this is put on hold but I'm sure they have their reasons. Anyway, long-term I'd say it's far more sane to keep your coins than to sell them. If you're a day-trader you may find yourself with good profits or huge loss within this situation, so move cautiously.
A lot of times, its not news but big holders selling or dumpin, which causes a panic sell.
Just like a panic buy at times.

Sell them all now and then buy back much cheaper in a few days time
That would actually be worse, as it mya fall more, and would be harder to predict whats the low.

Right?
yep
Really?, I have seen people say that all the way when prices were dropping from 1200 to 320 now.

2014, the year of the trolls, is almost in the books. Hope has faded, interest is all but gone, will 2015 be more of the same? Another year like this one would be difficult, to say the least.

Maybe the halving would get the miners away and increase the price.

or it is no longer worth?
Not easy to say , could go to 250$ tomorrow. Could also rise.

Can somebody share with all of us, at what price level does BTC becomes unprofitable for the miners and they start shutting off they rigs and BTC collapses completely? Is this even possible?
I am not sure, but I think around 270ish would be that number.
Would still like to get a definite answer from others.

Why is Bitstamp down today?
was that the reason, it had been down 2 days back too?

Just because they have moved does not mean they have been sold
Maybe all of the exchanges would keep following the coins until it ends up on their site, and then maybe able to give more information about the person selling those.

Wow, the price jumped, even though the trading hasn't begun yet . Is that because of stamp?

It peaked at 297.3 as soon as stamp opened, so I would guess yes.
Would be nice to see what happens when they resume their trading.
I think it would go up a little more.

How much time before bitstamp resumes its trading ?
Coins might be available cheap on sell orders set before the hack . Not sure if they reset that .

sucker rally.
It's too early to tell, wait and see where it corrects. A bull market also starts with pumps, but this one does look artificial to me.
I don't think an artificial pump , would get people to put in buy orders as the price is too volatile at the time and over 200 might not be the best buying time for now.

How low can this possibly go? I'm thinking 160ish
I would speculate 180'sh . Because if it goes to 160, then we are definitely going to see a more lower point after that.

Going to be hilarious if we do break 230 and make a run for 240
ever since i started daytrading with ~5% of my BTC, ive been enjoying the volatility a bit more

These 5% daily swings are nice for setting up a few buy and sell orders on each side to see where it goes. I'm up about 3% this week (which is only ~$10, but still) by playing the different LTC/BTC/NMC/USD spreads
It sure is better than investing in ponzi schemes

Well, convincing people to sell in order to fill you own buy orders is not cool imo.
I don't think by making a comment here would make people sell their stash

wow ... 7 billion people on this planet ... this is the major forum for bitcoin ... and this is the major thread for ongoing price discussion ... and nobody even bothers to post in several hours ... silence speaks volumes ... nobody cares anymore ... the only involved people left are the fanatics ... everyone else is back to living in the real world ...
There are only a few million individuals that are part of bitcoin.
And only a small part of that million who are part of this forum.

it seem price has staibilized it self above 220 mark ?
im happy with this... i hope 220 all the way to 2016, agree ?
Depends. Inflation is always good. And for people into mining they would definitely want it to increase.
