How come?

Not sure, just a prediction based on the price and the news about paypal and all, seems it will be stable at the current price for the next month. But hey, its bitcoin, expect the unexpected Wink

Is 12,076 shorts a record?

Moved my buy to 200, from 250, out of paranoia.

After looking at the trend, it seems a wise decision. I remember, when I month back, people were like if it ever falls to 300, then I would buy 50K worth. But the price trend, makes 300 not a far off target. I doubt, what will eventually happen to the prices.

Seems weird that international sepa proceeds instantly
Fiat rocks
Maybe we don't need Bitcoin after all.  Grin

Nonsense.  Long before Bitcoin was a thing, I dreamed of money with wildly fluctuating buying power.
I imagined a world where it took an hour to buy a cup of coffee, an hour to gas up your car, an hour to buy a bag of groceries...  Because math.

Zero confirmations duh.

Volatility is a problem because btc is in its infancy. With increasing adoption the swings will be smaller and smaller

Why will with increase in adoption swings be less? Wouldn't it be more as more people will buy so demand increases?

Any news or conspiracy theory?

Bitstamp has been pretty much stable in the last 4 hours. What is all the discussion about?

I wonder why do a lot of people vote for the worst in the voting above. It seems we have a lot of pessimistic people on the bitcoin forum here. Its just promotes the price to go down further.

And of course my 234.4 sell order misses by a few cents...

I've been missing the tops and bottoms by few cents every fucking time lately
Why not just sell it at lower then ?

Plot twist: Adam Gerbuez tweet was about Karpeles being the mastermind behind SR. SR coins taken by the feds are Gox coins.

Still, I don't see how this affects the price  Cheesy
He is just some dude with some insider info.

He was trying to pump the price before the crash lol

Too bad that most of the time news or insider info do NOT move price (not major moves anyway), it's an illusion.

I think it's serious big news..

When it is not big news, no one will take him seriously anymore..

He probably doesn't even know what's happening, hence the vague tweets. But there may be some news tomorrow - Bitcoin conference in Miami...

Was it confirmed that the involvement of Kerpeles was the big news ?

Is this Guerbuez guy full of shit then?

It's Friday & no news.....

Maybe it is. It might all be just to drive the price up or down. But wasn't it that Mark was involved with the trial ?

Has Mr. Guerbuez given out any news yet ? Or are we all waiting ?

It's more like nobody knows whether the price is going to go up or down right now, so it's staying sideways atm

Well, lets just hope it stays like that for the next few days, and doesn't continue its downward rally.

Its hilarious how quiet this thread goes when the price is rising compared to when it falls $10. Just trolls left = confirmed.
Well let the price drop by 1$, the trolls will be back soon after that .
