And the ECB a week ago, lowered rates to America's suicidal level of 2.5% (from .5%).
How can you lower something from 0.5 to 2.5 ?
I think he really means "from 0.50% to 0.25%".

I doubt it. There's no bad news, nor structural problem (IE: Gox freezing up and having 80% of the market). It's the weekend, and it's a big dip. PRobably will be a little longer seeing as monday is a bank holiday.
Bank holiday where?? In YOUR fucking country??

As a UK guy I'm keeping my holdings as a majority on bitstamp cause I trust the UK way more than Japan to get my money back to some degree should this ever happen
And what's the relation between UK and Bitstamp?

Bitstamp is based in Reading, UK
On one hand if Bitstamp ripped me off I could pay them a visit, but on the other hand the Inland Revenue can get hold of information about any trades that I do there. I like the way that the UK and US governments can't touch BTC-e though because it's in Russia
So they moved from Slovenia to UK.

No, of course they didn't.
Bitstamp is registered as a limited company in Reading, UK. I'd be surprised if there's anything more than a PO box with their name on it in that place.
So is this all bullshit?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38711.0Well if you look at our site you probably see it is not like some over-the-night designed system running behind worldpress template. You can also clearly see our company info www.bitstamp.net/about_us/ , company is registered in Slovenia and we are all Slovenian citizens so we are obligated to follow strict laws and not hiding behind some Panama or Cyprus offshore companies. We also work with one of the leading banks in the world Unicredit bank.
We are currently working on some cool new features. I will post all new things here so you can be first to test it. We are always open for new ideas.

Their bank is in Slovenia (probably favourable banking laws vs uk and usa) but they're a UK company.
They are a UK company NOW.

You said they didn't move from Slovenia to UK, that's not true. And I still don't believe they are a UK company.

Wow, incredible volume on China: 62,036 -> 47.41 %
I have my doubts the rally will correct at 500, so much buying pressure there.
I guess sundays are not special days for them.

And you keep your equipment running as long as your running costs are lower than the bitcoins generated.
This argument has no sense, I've shut down many times my miners long before reaching that point. Mining for covering costs ONLY is stupid IMHO.

I've sold 25% of my coins, I'm sure I'll regret it, but this just feels impossible.
(Also Bitcoins were approaching something like 75% of my net worth... not bad because I invested something like 5% of my net worth in them originally)
Am I stupid =/
I did too - I consider it insurance. You know how many times i wished I walked away from the table when I was gambling? Well, I learned that lesson well. I still have a healthy amount, so I'm just now waiting to see if I want to buy back in lower.
You're not alone.

So those triangles only exist on your mind.

In terms of the "triangle maker" theory, yes, and in the minds of other that have noticed similar buying and selling patterns and discussed this with me. By stating it was a hunch it is pretty obvious I'm not calling it fact. People have theories all the time. But the triangles the happen all the time in the bitcoin are openly discussed on these forums with pics... Like all the time... They aren't just in my mind, they are in the markets subconscious.
So there are pics, but you don't want to show them.

You can use a forum search yourself.

That would be the right answer the first time he ask for pics but you love the sound of your writing.

So much fail all around the exchanges.

Maybe some day we'll have an exchange that it's not a fucking joke.

I presume you want to change Btc-e fiat to goxbux? Keep in mind that if it crashes Btc-e may drop far lower than gox. Plus goxbux are not the best currency around, worse than fiat.
no, simpler: OKpay €
You can't withdraw from MtGox to OKPAY.

If any biggie were to make a coin to compete with XBT, I think it would be Google. That outfit has the tech inhouse and has servers everywhere. What's to stop them?

By the time it come to fruition the Internet ID will be firmly entrenched and they will just render all of the other cryptos worthless by declaring them illegal. BUT they always under estimate the techies. They will find ways to subvert it but that is a future digital war probably beyond my life span.
Oh, poor thing... he will miss his little digital war. There there...

And while the tumbleweed was rolling past, we so very nearly saw the $10,000 bitcoin, albeit only in one wee corner of the internet and presumably because someone was drunk, misinformed or pushed the wrong button.

It wasn't such a long wait after all.
Pfft wake me up when it's above 10k
That chart will be fucked forever. Or at least a couple of months...
