Yup, its look like we're gonna test 135$ support

That would be awesome but unlikely.

Very not awesome you mean. How would $135 be a good thing?!
People are probably looking to buy buy buy when the price drops down to such a low.
And who aren't holding coins right now and want to invest in future desperately want the prices to fall down.

As it is falling, it is likely to keep falling or stay low longer.

It's a Ponzi involving some kind of mining contract. The scammer said they would pay 0.64BTC of interest per day for every 90BTC investment.

By the way, they claim 3 billion HKD, not CNY. But this 3 billion HKD is pulled out of their ass. Only 30 victims seek help and they claims loss of 1 million HKD on average. The legislative councillor speculates that there are 3000 victims and ALL OF THEM lost 1 million HKD. That's how the 3 billion HKD calculated.

TL;DR: Bitcoin scam not as successful as the article suggests.
Bullish!

Lots of growth potential for Bitcoin ponzi scheme's.

 Cheesy

We will go down to sub-200$ within a week because they planned on dumping more only to buy back cheaper and make a huge profit. Maybe Wink

It's "buy the rumor and sell the news". No matter what the rumor or news is. Just buy the rumor, and then sell the news. Works always, guaranteed.

It works most of the time but the timing must be excellent and the dicipline very strong to turn a good profit long term with this strategy.

Market doesn't react at all to the news of Germany not accepting Greece's request for new money?

Ahem, it is not very relevant for the Chinese gamblers at Huobi and OKCoin, is it?

Greece leaving the Euro, if it happens , will be relevant to everyone.....

I heard people say the same thing when Lehman/sub-prime mortgage fiasco was happening,   those same people still cannot figure out (7-8 years later) why they are working more, earning less, why their house is worth less, why their chicken and shopping costs more.

Greece does not operate in a vacuum, plus, make no mistake, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy are all looking very closely at what is happening, they also do not operate in a vacuum.

Even if there is a last minute compromise reached this week, even then, the future of Greece in the Euro is looking shaky. Elections coming up in other southern European countries soon too.

If you are in a position to be isolated and immune from the global financial situation, then bully for you, but while the world will not cave in on itself, neither will a grexit be an isolated event that effects only the Greeks.

Greece is extremely small and has profiting from Europe.

Nice slow steady uptrend, bears not clogging up the forum with derision and contrived FUD, a nice piece about BTC on CNN that was fairly accurate and informative... what the hell is going on here!?!?!   Huh  Cheesy

Bitcoin is here to surprise you. When everyone has gotten used to the bear market, trolls and dumpage, it will quietly disappear to mess with your mind Smiley

It went to 245$ but it will likely go down to 220ish again.

Price seems to be going down a bit now. But I don't think this is going to end in another flash crash. And even if we should go down as much as last night, it will only show the resilience Bitcoin has managed to gain over the past weeks!

to me it looks like a slow grind down.

I feel it could go up to get closer to 300$, the market is very volatile but we have been sub 250$ enough time Wink

hodl on to your butts!

No reason to think we will not touch 300$ soon, everyone ordered bank wires to their favorite exchanges Today, we may have a huge buying spree to 300$ this week-end and Monday.

Breaking 300$ soon?

I am buying now, it goes up and all the short can't get it down more than a few bucks. I predict a huge rise up in price Today or Tomorrow.

at least 300 is the fair price considering difficulty atm... 260 range is cheap.

300$ should be touched this week. There is a lot of buying and positive thinking on the market. We reached 260$ and it should keep going.

Doesn't the price up in price reminds you of the nice bull markets we had ?

The price goes up then loses some of its gains then rise again. So far we have followed this path for what ? About a week ! It could go up more because the price is catching momentum as it goes up.

Any good new about the price I'm buying now all that i can I heard that bitcoin price may repeat exactly what
did in 2013 the price will grow up incredibly

Last week, I predicted 300$ for this week and it seems we will go there then likely higher.

LOL why is the price rising?

More news?

Big amounts of fiat coming to the market and buying on any dip. I think we will hit 300$ within 24H.

Sideways is almost as good as up. Every 24 hours I believe in the reversal more.

+40$ -30$ +40$ -30$, we could get to 300$ and stay over 300$ at this rate. Until it falls again or until it goes to 500$, 700$, 1000$ again ?

The triangle seems to break to the upside. But no major pump yet, hmm...

We are slowly going up, it doesn't feel like the usual pumps.

Price gain is limited (yet), but market indicators are in the overbought zone. I closed my long, just in case, may reopen later.
Smart move of a wise trader who knows how to read charts to prevent getting bulltraped by chinese wash volume "pumps". Target of this shity fake pump is 1760 cny, then dump.

Buying futures now and having a huge profit like traders who bought futures at 100$ in early November 2013  would be nice.

Here is a great trade for those having fiat, but dare not invest more in bitcoin due to the downside risk.

1 Buy a bitcoin
2 Sell a 6 month forward, using the bitcoin as collateral.
3 Collect a USD20 no risk*) profit. That is a 7% in 6 months. Buy an extra ice cream now, care free.

The reason is that the forwards are 20 % higher than spot, indicating an expected rise, in aggregate, by the market.

You have the same phenomenon in oil, except storage of oil is costly, which means that a larger spread on the future/spot is necessary to make a profit.

*) except third party risk.

I don't personally go into this, I would rather just have the bitcoin, I don't mind the risk.

What exactly are you looking at, OKC futures? Didn't know they have 6 month contracts :/

It is weird they only have 1, 2 and 3 weeks contracts and they cost more than the spot price Grin I wonder why Grin

I do not deny that there is a huge currency war ongoing, but Bitcoin is lightyears away from taking any part in this game.

This is no war, just competition. While everyone is looking at the usd/eur rate, euro etf's have pulled in close on $40bn since January, and all interest in US equities has evaporated.

EUR and USD are due to both decrease in value against real assets.

Bots are just stupid. Who need the price to be displayed here. Welcome in my ignore list.

Yeah. I have to agree with you, Chartbuddy is a bit annoying as well.

Though bitcoin going up is good news Wink Hoping it can hit $300 next week.

Chartbuddy is ignored by so many people here. i have the price displayed all the time on my phone (bitcoin checker) and my computers (bitcoinwisdom), i really don't need to read it here.

It is a bit annoying sometimes but I keep the chartbuddy.
