Yeah... maybe less than 1/3 end up on exchanges in any given day... and likely miners will be acting strategically concerning when they will sell... Sure panic sells are possible and selling out of necessity is also possible.

Thank you for not shouting.

ok ladies and gentlemen, im officially out and done with all of this. if the rocket was going anywhere it would have already blasted off. no blast off means we are still going down. rip in piece xbt. should have known, to good to be true. i shall remember my bits fondly.

i have come to the realization that it's time to cut my losses. my hard earned money wont be losing any more value when it is sitting safe and sound inside my bank account at chase National Bank, in fact it will be earning interest!

i strongly recommend you all do the same, put your money in the bank where it belongs, or else the whales, banksters, and corrupt governments will end up with all the value of your coins, and you will be left with worthless digits on your computer, you will be forever ridiculed by family and friends about magic beans and ponzi schemes, and you will eventually be forced to join the military and fight and die in wars you don't understand and definitely don't agree with, or find yourself locked in a prison making license plates for twenty cents an hour.

13. Post 9120165 (copy this link) (by Cheeseonastick) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_13.21h):

Let me make two quick final points.

1. anything i say is to help other people who are like myself, who have the basic common sense to listen to what others say in order to help educate themselves. I'm just one perspective, obviously not an omniscient god, and also not on someones payroll, the world is not so full of convenient conspiracies as some of you would like to believe. However if anyone reading this would like to pay me to write stuff, I would be open to discussing that.

2. poop leaves the body at body temperature, and if the temperature of the environment is low enough, the poop will steam. This is not a visual indication of an especially stinky poop as you might think upon first glance, but rather of a temperature difference. The rise in price since the manipulation at 300 is a result of the environment, (the relative price in the short term), and has nothing to do with any fundamentals behind bitcoin. It's all just speculation and once the turd cools down to match the ambient temperature, and 300 becomes normal in peoples minds (a few weeks perhaps) then it'll drop again.

14. Post 9120712 (copy this link) (by Cheeseonastick) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_13.21h):

2 more quick points for anyone who is interested.

Here is a photograph of a fresh honey badger turd. Based on the morphology of the poop and it's obvious similarity to human feces, I am assuming the rate of cooling will be similar also. The natural follow up question then becomes, at what rate does the average human turd cool?

To compound the issue, badgers instinctually dig small holes and burrows for use as latrines. How does being in a burrow, half buried, influence the rate of cooling?

If my gut estimations are correct, then the rate of cooling might be faster than anyone here is likely to suspect. I believe we could be looking at a drop to 240 within the next 6-8 hours.

Unless you are absolutely certain about what you are doing, you should sell your bitcoin and put the money safely in your bank. I recommend Chase National Bank or Bank of America.

JayJuanGee seems to think his opinions are worth more than mine. That his TA is better than mine.

Perhaps, JayJuanGee. But perhaps not.

In the end, we shall see.

I stand by my prediction that within 6-8 hours, the price will have declined considerably. What we are seeing now is steam rising off the poop. Nothing inside of the poop has changed. Do not be fooled. Buy now at your own peril.

17. Post 9122511 (copy this link) (by Cheeseonastick) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_13.21h):

The next 6-8 hours will reveal the internal temperature of the poop, from which we can estimate how long until it equalizes with the ambient environmental temperature.

19. Post 9130912 (copy this link) (by Cheeseonastick) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_13.21h):

Upon closer examination, it appears there is some kind of internal heat source that was not evident to me when I made my last predictions. It should have cooled to ambient temperature, but it is still steaming, and in fact it actually appears to be getting hotter. At this time, the evidence suggests it may steam indefinitely, however the heat source is still a mystery to me, and there is a possibility that it could lead to overheating which, left unchecked, COULD cause critical failures, meltdowns, and possibly explosions.

I recommend to everyone to go all in. I believe circle.com accepts credit cards.

Kudos to you, and hats off.  Someone who is capable of critical thinking and changing his mind in a public forum is rare these days, especially here.

Indeed, at times there appears to be a lack of critical thinking on this forum. Fortunately there are still those of us who are interested in discussing bitcoin, not on petty bets, religion, cult personalities on this forum, and other unrelated NONsense. I am keeping a very close eye on my indicators and I will continue to share what I see with those who follow me, as my methodology is rather unique and I suspect some of the more critical minded folks out there probably appreciate my efforts, especially those who do not have the same resources at their disposal that I do.

Cmon now... Or have i just poured myself another glass of whisky for no reason?

Let's do this like the last rally.

For every $1 bitcoin rises tonight, I will shotgun 1 beer, until I pass out or run out of beers (~120 in the fridge at the moment).

LOL

your fridge must be filled with nothing but beer!  Cheesy

not for long buddy, not for long...

I havent got any beer in my fridge. Should i eat a bit of cheese or over due sausage for every +btc?

I'd need beer donations again ^^

If you eat all your cheese now, you will prevent future dumps.

I would eat the cheese. I would stay away from the sausage.

How hard is it to through with verification on bitfinex?? It says I must provide a "bank statement" with my name and account and also my first deposit must come from this account? ("Bank Statement: clearly highlighting your name as the account holder (your first deposit to Bitfinex must come from this account).")
I don't even know what a bank statement is Huh

And for proof of address, does anything work that contains my name and address?? Like a phone bill?

Are you sure you need a verified account?

You can store and exchange btc and USD on bitfinex without a verified account.

It says this: "Whether you wish to deposit or withdraw US dollars funds to/from your Bitfinex account, your account must be verified in order to comply with relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and counter terrorism financing (CTF) laws and regulations."

So I guess I have to verify right?

It depends on what you want to use your account for.

If you plan on sending USD to the exchange directly, then yes you need to verify.

However, you can easily buy your btc somewhere else (coinbase, circle), send the btc to your unverified bitfinex account, then sell it on the exchange for USD. You will then have USD at bitfinex, in your account. If you want to withdraw, you would exchange it back into btc on bitfinex, and then send it to your coinbase/circle wallet and sell there for USD.

Where does coinbase get their coins? Directly from miners? Or do they buy from an exchange?

Has anyone else noticed that the stupid and egocentric type of women tend to run out on you when you need their support the most? I see them as a luxury, something nice to have when times are good but unnecessary and actually a harmful distraction much of the time.

Ftfy. There are nice girls, keep looking.

Nice girls, the real ones, tend to get married early and stay married. There is a difference in how men and women are wired. Women do not feel loyalty in the same way that men do. They may be loyal during tough times, but it is against their nature to do so and it is rare. Fortunately for me, my shelf life is longer than theirs and every time they bail because life doesn't meet their fairy tale expectations, I replace them with a newer model.
lol you're a jackass and the reason you haven't met one of those 'loyal girls' is because you talk bullshit and whine about how we're not loyal, but in the mean time you'll say you can just 'replace us with a newer model'.

LOL. Must have hit a nerve. I wasn't always what you call a "jackass". A long string of women turned me into one. Blame your sisters.

You should find some butthurt girl who resents men because they keep dumping her.

I wonder why do a lot of people vote for the worst in the voting above. It seems we have a lot of pessimistic people on the bitcoin forum here. Its just promotes the price to go down further.

People choose the worst option because that way if the price drops, they can at least take comfort of having made a correct prediction. If the price rises, they will be happy and they won't care about the poll.

I can't wait to watch the despair once we go under 300 again. Silly bulls should have cut their losses a long time ago. If you have bitcoin, what are you waiting for? When are you going to sell? 290? 250? 150? 25? 10?? 5???

.50??

The longer you wait the more money you will lose. Some people understood this a long time ago.

Bitcoin is done for. The experiment has failed. You should have listened to all those people who warned against buying bitcoin. Professor bitcorn was right all along.

If a person consistently fails in all aspects of their lives over the course of many years, they become accustomed to failing. They take comfort in being wrong. They become addicted to failure. Eventually they think they are right when they are wrong, and they think they're winners when by almost any objective measurement they are losers.

I thought they allowed up to 2.5x leverage, but I'm not seeing anywhere to adjust leverage settings.

so..

what happend ?
short squezzed Huh

afaik, you set your leverage rate when you register

I do recall setting my leverage settings when I registered. Odd that they don't allow you to adjust it later.

I suppose I will just have to make a new account if I want to change my leverage settings then  Undecided

They have one leverage settings for all users now.

Interesting, thanks for the info. When did they change this?

I assume it's 1:1 for everyone?
