Not at all, it will happen sooner or later doesnt matter

Sooner or later we all die. Do you want us all to follow your example and post that prediction several times per day?

bought below 100 at btc-e, hopefully it will bounce now

it just did.
are you a wizard?
sold at 116.85, hopefully it will drop again, hehe
I've been there once and failed to capitalize on absolute same scenario, luckily I managed to do it so far this time. Let's see what will happen now.
Lucky. I had 101 queued to sell at 116.99 and it went over $117. It didn't sell though

I assume the lag prevented the sale.
I've listed again splitting it into chucks of 10 Bitcoin each.

You'll be able to buy them back for much cheaper than that if you wait for a few hours.
My system is to buy back with 1% clear profit on every deal. Even if more can be had, at this stage I am only interested in establishing trading rules so I can safely trade 2000 at a time.

Do you cut your losses as fast as you cut your profits?
No - generally I get the timing right so I can afford to wait a day or so before cutting losses. The only really bad one was a sale at $92 made when I was afk for a few hours and the price rose to 105 or so before I got back. I had to wait 16 hours to get my bitcoins back and even then I paid $94. Luckily I was travelling at the time so I had the buy order left open and it was fulfilled when I got a chance to take a look.

I understand most charts, but this one is completely beyond me?
Could anyone kindly explain, would be appreciated! Looks interesting lol
It's the bid and ask walls.
If you go here
http://bitcoinity.org/markets you'll see it in 2d.
Notice the wall at 125, you can see the ridge in the 3d graph. Those are snapshots of the wall over the last hour. Very little change at the moment. It's taking the 2d walls, making it 3d, and lining them to give you a differnet view.
So it projects that the price will top out around $125 and start to fall after that?
13.

It doesn't project anything, it reports what has happened, and what is happening.
We haven't reached $125 yet so how do you interpret the significance of the "cliff" at that point?

Another coordinated lag and dump.
Having waited 24 hours for the price to get to 114.1, I decided accept my loss and bought for 116 - exactly what I sold for last night.

From the charts ...
Volume was really low and we had just reached the end of a triangle on the 15 min chart and peeked out the bottom
Well for second time this morning I've bought back at $107.42 after selling at $109.5
I've 108 Bitcoin listed at $109.59 again

To my untrained eye, it looks like someone is selling low in the hope of buying back even lower. The dump was at 106 when market ask was 108 and now there are lots of buys going through at 104. After mtgox commissions, thats 1% return.
Assuming he gets his 1300 back, thats over $1780 profit. Not bad for 10 minutes work and a cool head for figures...

Walls are looking pretty healthy. $4M+ of coin or dollars required for a 15% movement in either direction.
Side Note: What the odds the big cats are completely trolling us with this "stability" before they start effing shit up again?

Way too healthy. The amount of asks (fairly spread out which leads me to believe there's not a lot of fake walls) is extremely high for a $6 span from $114-$120.
Last drop to $98 I noticed as we ran back up to $105+ that the asks between 110-120 where filling up extremely fast. It seems like a lot of day traders bought up the last mini crash and tossed the coins right back up for sale $5-$8-$10 higher. Which to me explains why there hasn't been much panic selling or coin dumping, the traders are happy to wait for the bulls to pay them off.
The problem with that is people are buying, but they aren't holding. They're turning around trying to sell it at a small markup. And it seems the amount of people doing this in the last mini-crash has put up a huge chunk of legitamite asks that make it very slow going if we're going up.
The majority of large coin purchases are done against limited ask resistance. Which makes sense, you blow 500k on coins you want the price to move. Your coins are worth more, you might start a rally, and hopefully the price stays at the higher point. Spending 500k and the price going up $1 isn't going to entice a lot of people. Unless 10k of those ask coins get dumped or someone drops 1M on coins, we're not going to move very much. Everyone between $100-$120 is pretty patient at the moment.
Very interesting post - it describes my position perfectly. After a week of buying selling several times a day, I've been left on the sidelines waiting for movement before jumping back in.
How long would you expect this "stability" to last?

Reading many of these comments just reminds me of the blind, ideological and delusional thinking of the Napster cults. Faith is necessary I get that but some of this stuff is just craziness. The more I read these forums, the shorter Bitcoins lifespan becomes to me. I''m currently at 2 years tops. That's not because Bitcoin is not awesome, it's simply that too many people behind it are irrational and lack common sense and logic.
I plan to make as much as I can off of it while I can, but my sights are already set on the "iTunes" of crypto.
All new ideas attract some people who think the end of the world is nigh. That doesn't change the fact that some new ideas are good ideas. Bitcoin is a good idea in my opinion as it provides an effective alternative to fiat currency. As such, it only takes a few dictators or billionaires to use it to avoid confiscation and the value will shoot to well over $10,000 per coin.
Concrete example: Hosni Mubarak had $70 billion confiscated when he lost power. If he had been able to get even a quarter of that into Bitcoin, it would still be his and Bitcoin would be worth over $20,000 each.
So hang in there - this idea has more potential for massive gains than any other investment opportunity around today.

Investors and speculators may very soon get tired of waiting for cheaper coins.
Fiat on the order book is growing, we are at its highest peak in the last 15 days - and very close to ATH
I believe this very thing. This will be one of those deciding moments for Bitcoin. Will they exit the market entirely or will they buy in at higher prices? This will tell a lot about investors long term commitment to Bitcoin.
I'm still patiently waiting to get on board after selling 108 coins at $98. I kicked myself for not buying at $111 and at $115. Now I'm thinking that $120 will be crossed and its time to buy again.
EDIT: I've bought back in

With all this bad news and lag surrounding MtGox, why haven't people been leaving? Is it fear of lower liquidity? Chicken-or-egg problem? Catch-22? (all the same thing I believe)
Bitcoin is designed to cope with being illegal. There is a reason Satoshi never revealed his name. Even if MtGox is killed, we will always have ways to get money in and out of fiat.

The issue is that the US government quickly dismantles any business that allows such a thing. Literally every single US based service ever that has enabled irreversible fast payments has been shut down. I'm not joking.
Good luck with "shutting down" Bitcoin.
I'm really hoping the US is so blind and short-sighted to officially outlaw Bitcoin, so a) Coinseeker and his likes stop using it because of that mental illness named "patriotism", and b) they learn in the very hard way that Bitcoin was designed to be resilient to both bans and regulation.
Anyhow, I guess all the financial institutions and their sockpuppets (AKA the three-letter agencies) have looked into it and realized they cannot just ban it, so they will play their cards differently.
They will make it hard to get money into and out of Bitcoin. This will affect the value of Bitcoin but its not a fundamental threat.

Ya, and if bitcoin actually requires us to use TOR or a VPN, how would that benefit mass adoption? That would kill it entirely.
You do not need mass adoption. Sure, to see the $300k per BTC predicted by rptard you need mass adoption. But I personally don't need to see $300k per BTC.
I'm happy with a system that gives me and the ones like me monetary freedom. A decentralized, trust-free system which allows me to store and transfer value independently from financial institutions. A system that no Government can kill, where my funds cannot be seized.
...snip...
This is exactly how I see it as well. I don't really care what happens to the dollar and the euro and whatever. I'm sure they will all outlive all of us. But Bitcoin is a "free" as in "free speech" alternative and even if it has to be used over TOR, its evolution is one of the great developments of our lifetimes.
BTW, if the US did decide to ban Bitcoin, they would start by arresting Gavin. While he remains free to do presentations and code, Bitcoin is not threatened at all by the US. The inconveniences we see are due to money-laundering laws.

I don't really care about countries, we all live and breath on the same planet and nobody is superior or better than the other.
It is a deliberate act. Al he has to do is make a "Without the USA all puppies will die" message and he gets to see people say "Puppies will be fine without the USA" posts.

we have reached the tipping point. sell now!
Target reached. I'm selling 10% of my holdings and let the other 90% ride this for the very long run.
I did that at 119.99 and bought a car. I am now driving a car that cost more than a 5 bedroom house.
Don't sell!
