I also would like to buy some LTC, but sadly I did the mistake in using BTC-E. 13 confirms and counting. I hope that BTC won't drop back to 500 meanwhile

I guess that there has to be a delay on BTC deposits, so that "the right people" can all buy in, before all the deposits arrive at the same time creating a sudden surge upwards. One of the reason I left BTC-E, was because it reeked of insider trading with someone constantly playing with 2mil.$+ LTC buy/sell walls.
Any recommendation on what is the most trustworthy place that also trades alts like LTC and PPC?
same here, 3hours 22confirmations and btce ZERO!
fucking amateurs like mtsux was.... im considering not using these retards anymore

there will be always those big dumbs because it's part of the game.
It is happening with regular money as well, but there are national banks which are taking those dumps so price remain stable. Bitcoin is missing those (thankfully)
as always this is only to fear some weak hands and force them to sell so others can buy in cheaper.
Don't be scared, amplitudes are shortening but they are going to be there for sure still.

....... soooooo
Bitfinex has now enabled margin trading for BCH
But not opened up deposit wallets yet
Cannot help but still think this is pump and dump and dump and dump.
These closed loop exchanges are messing with the price discovery- eliminating arbitrage opportunity
and simultaneously benefiting those with coins on the exchanges - those that wished to do so have been able to sell their BCH or part of. In fact the wave up and correction on Finex gave many a chance to almost double their BCH
in a day- and this ain't over yet.
It's gotta get messy when they open deposit wallets on the exchanges.
Crazily enough - I have heard of people that stayed in fiat during the fork- and
then after fork bought BTC and BCH- mental.
Yes, many people that started purchasing BCH made some easy profits. I sold my BCH on kraken for 175 euro a piece... never expected it to get up to 600 euro's the next day
may i know how? official statement from kraken is BCH deposits are under developments, so how you were able to transfer your BCH to kraken when they do not have wallet for it yet??

Besides, billionaires don't always make the right decisions.
Let's talk about the time that Warren Buffet bought about 129 million oz of silver at $3.50 to $4/oz. around 2002-2003. Then he dumped all the silver in 2005 around $6/oz. Good timing on a great trade, right?
By 2007 silver was up to $17/oz.
By 2011 silver was up to $48/oz.
Furthermore, many of these billionaire's fortunes are not exactly liquid (at least to them.) Much of their fortune is the value of the stocks that they hold for their companies. Why would they liquidate a substantial portion of their interest in their own companies? I'm sure many of them hold their own companies very near and dear to their hearts. Just like Satosi has HODL the vast majority of his bitcoins. Why risk hurting your baby by crashing its market, by liquidating even 5% of your holdings?
what about because humans needs to eat at least?
if everybody will only HODL there will be no trade no volumes nothing, so thankfully there are people which are not HODLING till they die....

The Bitcoin Cash blockchain is currently operating at 17% of the original chain's difficulty.
The original chain has grown 713.42MB more than the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.
It is currently 114% more profitable to mine on the original chain.
https://cash.coin.dance/blocksand there can be issue for BTC, as miners will redirect minig rigs for profit instead.

Well that all depends... how far will it dip?

not much, as this is usualy caused by local dumpster and few unlucky weak hands fullfils their nonsense stop loss orders, immediatelly after dum(b)pster there is rise to previous price.....
no big drama

"Land of the slaves"
It is not illegal to buy bitcoins, but you're not allowed! Why? Slaves can spend their dollars only for items approved by their masters.
good, at least one exchange will not be robbed by trUmpSA just because they "can"

people never learn ... obvious weak hands style dump (+ stop loss orders wipeout) and people in here already posting bullshits about dropping to sub 4000k
it's small correction, use it for your good or close charts and live

it's definitely not that easy for BTC to implement diff adjustments so quickly
so it may end up with high diff and low mining power ... then btc is screwed

Should we create a new poll like: "when will the BCC orchestrated pump finish when ver, wu, and their partners dump all their coins, and then create a giant dip?"
a) at 0.25 btc/bcc
b) at 0.30 btc/bcc
c) at 0.5 btc/bcc
d) at 0.7 btc/ bcc

i'm pretty sure you know they are not stupid and they are doing it in purpose to get BCH some attraction
as every BTC holder have BCH anyways you guys should stop whining as it is win-win situation if you are able to play it right...

I just did my bit for bitcoin and sold my BCH. covered my original investment in btc and still got all my btc. hope I don't regret it
never regret any profit
it's only about percentage and if you have investment back and btc holdings still in your possession, it's at least 100% success

Just back home. Bought the dip again ($3610USD).
This time the atm fee was -3.4%. They actually paid me to buy their coins. Amazing.

Still got some fiat free, enough for a couple more dips. Gotta free up some more cash tomorrow.
This is obviously a great buying opportunity.
Bought myself another dip to .... where Will it go from here another dip to be expected ?

Or Just another uptrend....?
why those questions are so repetitive? ... NOBODY KNOWS, play it as you feel it

The story is that he lost 700000 XMR worth about 20500 XBT on his Apple laptop. I am not a fan of Apple and its EULA's but this has to be a record for a click on "I agree".
Edit: I used GNU/Linux on a laptop that I bought from a surplus government auction to make this post .
wtf has apple to do with it? I have apple and haven't lost a penny ... get real ppl ...
