What is Bankruptcy Protection?
"Bankruptcy protection" is the process by which a debtor is "protected" by a court while they reorganize their finances.
Protected from what? Protected from excessively hasty or harassing creditor actions, such as foreclosures, repossessions, law suits, harassing telephone calls, and the like. A more accurate lay-terminology for filing for "bankruptcy protection" would be filing for "financial reorganization" or "financial restructuring" under Chapter 7 or Chapter 13.
A fancy term for soon....

Biggest theft in history was the bail out of the banking system 2008. They took it while getting bonuses.
OK, OK, the biggest non-legal theft

Bitcoin has gone down almost 50-60% in three months. You serious think Chinese investors what to move their currency from one volatile currency to another one just for shits and giggles.
As i read it bitcoin could become the switzerland for currencies for a chinese investor. But i don't claim to understand the situation completly

What the apology means
Apologizing plays a key role when Japanese companies respond to a crisis — an act that is often misunderstood by non-Japanese. Unlike in Western societies, where a public apology is taken as an admission of guilt, apologies are considered obligatory in Japan, and it is common to see Japanese men in dark suits at packed press conferences with grave expressions, their heads bowed deeply, apologizing to the Japanese public at large. But what exactly are they apologizing for? Often the apology is for creating a disturbance and is not meant to imply guilt or innocence. While this might be understood in Japan, apologizing in this manner clearly does not translate well to an overseas audience.

I'll take that as a admission of guilt, no you ?
yes, but guilty of what? stealing or losing.
I wasn't making an opinion. i was just trying to tell that according to japanese culture he had to do this

I belief (new)whales are building position before ETF, regulation,... so that they are ready for the next "pump"
Read this!
http://pastebin.com/cqM71kesEven if you're a whaletrader(s) that believes bitcoin is doomed and a fad it's obvious that there are enough bitcoin "cultists" to warrant at least one more succesful bitcoin pump and dump so all the factors are met in this market to attempt this.
Now, not all these whales are non-bitcoin believers but they will take the oppertunity to pump the price just in time to "dump" into the buyers that will enter the market when the Winkelvii ETF starts.
Bitcoin is oversold bigtime atm and it will spring up violently.
Perfect storm coming Soon™
additionally:
With bitcoin being such an immature ,new, unregulated market full off noob traders (read early miners) that are inexperienced in financial markets but have lot's off coins the price actions often seem to follow textbook technical analysis patterns so it's really easy to exploit this as an experienced hedge fund manager, forex veteran,...
Combine this with the fact that bitcoin is really in it's venture capitalist fase( huge price swings) before IPO if you would compare it with a "normal" company and compare bitcoin to a share.

And we have the reason why bitcoin is so extreme volatile.
VC investors are used to these swings but the public isn't as the public normally only sees the price of a share after IPO and thus big adoption wich means less volatility.

LOL, ya that will totally not make things worst.
i've got some damage control to do now, i'll give her a few days at her moms, and then i'll go begging for her forgiveness.
lifes not fair man....
Ahh.

I will pray you both can work it out. Relationships are hard work sometimes, but worth fighting for. I don't know the entire situation but I would think that she is just trying to get your "attention" this way for whatever needs she feels aren't being met. Women need attention, usually way more than seems rational to men, and perhaps us women are all illogical but that is just the way it is.

Also, you can take a break from Bitcoin if needed. This board would survive without you for a few days.

Well, I started to talk about Bitcoin to my clients instead of forcing meaningless chat to pass the time.
If I think about it, I actually find it strange that I have never ever tried to sell Bitcoins for cash during these home visits. I never offer them anything beyond basic information and my admittedly subjective opinions. Even though this certain side job of mine requires me to meet relatively wealthy strangers at their home (they invite me to visit and do my job, I am not intruding) has absolutely nothing to do with finance, I technically do have a license to talk about finance with people at their home, I just never actually used it for anything (I didn't even pick up that piece of paper from the school, it might lost it's validity by now and/or they throw it away but it was child play to pass the tests, so I could claim it again any time). But for some reason I don't care to do it. I like to talk about Bitcoin, or even world economy but it feels like doing cash trades with Bitcoin would ruin the mood (and I don't think I could sell Bitcoins without braking my other character, so one job-personality would need to suffer).
are you an escort?

I missed some fun while I was gone this morning.

Will I go to heaven for doing this? Ummmm NO! The entire point of Christianity is that nothing we do can earn our way to heaven. It is just out of God's love for us we feel compelled to do things for others, no strings attached. It is hard for many to grasp this concept I guess.
About those Bitcoins though. I was kinda hoping the price would have gone up by now.

When I was in the early stages of planning this trip I figured that BTC would be well over $1000 per coin and had big ideas of funding much of the trip with BTC. Things don't always work out like we planned. Thankfully all the funds are raised anyways!! (each person going was responsible for our own airfare and lodging of course) We had to come up with over $15000 for just the conference. We also raised over $15000 for the water wells and food/clothing for the other outreaches too. It is going to be an amazing trip. I will give an update of how it goes when we get back. And no one is being forced to "convert." A forced conversion isn't a true conversion anyways.
Edit: I thought perhaps a few people on here would be interested in hearing some good things that are going on, and Bitcoin is funding part of my expenses of the trip (not as much as I had hoped but that is the way it is.) Also, I am planning on mentioning the Indian website
www.unocoin.com to the founder of the group we are working with. I already mentioned BTC to him when he was in the states a few months ago and he was very interested. The thought of less fees for currency conversion was extremely appealing. Also, I am looking to send some Bitcoin to them on the next Bubble, God willing.
Well that's the one thing religion still does. It provides some kind of moral
guidelines rules for those inable to adequatly form them for themselves.
Unfortunatly those unevolving
guidelines rules can be turned, twisted and (mis)used by good and bad people all the same.
I for one am glad I can rely on my own "love" and intelligence to critically develop (a neverending process) my own moral values and incentives to help others.
That doesn't mean I don't respect your humanitarian work and recognise the fact your doing good.
Enjoy the trip!
