Since i've been here...

Not a single bull has ever told me why Bitcoin is worth $210 -$1000, $100k and not $30-70$ like it should, yet i'm the one who's considered a troll LMFAO. The stupid fucks watched so many graphs that they forgot that the price is driven by people and their reaction to the technology and not by the lines presented on a chart and some fancy trends posted by delusional amateur traders that were born post "The Wolf of Wall Street". We are not in the past where the MtGox bots were pumping out Bitcoin like lunatics.

Go outside of your pussified geeky world and ask people if they give a shit about bitcoin. Ask them and then you will see the real truth. What you got here is a technology that's failing to take advantage of the power that the internet has to offer, in case you want to talk about a mass adoption situation. That alone should tell you a more realistic price.

Now please, go back to your 9 to 5 (liquor store) jobs and stop dreaming like idiots that one day you will all own Bentleys and big opulent houses. Keep bitcoin on the side and work harder on your other goals.

^Poster gives impression that he has no interest in Bitcoin (and is certainly not trying to pick up cheap coins)
Spends all his time in a Bitcoin Forum

You got it wrong, goofy kid. I'm very interested in bitcoin, but that doesn't mean that i don't have to approach it more realistically.

Edit : You see a stupid fuck like the one above me with his "STOP QUOTING THE TROLLS PLEASE" message, yet he doesn't have any counter argument for what i said. It's sad.

Why "should" they be $30- $70 lol.
I have seen many explanations on why bitcoin would be worth much higher, depending on what market is captures, etc.  You must not even have a job, because I am pretty sure reading and being able to comprehend what other people are saying, is a requirement.

How dare you insult the noble liquor store worker!!!

Panic buy in 3... 2 ... 1 ...

(I'd say 220)

Panic buy now!  I was thinking we were screwed when there wasn't a huge price increase, but btc has been steadily climbing dollar by dollar.  Maybe it is the average joe getting in bit by bit, maybe it investors not trying to spike the price and create a mini crash after a huge buy where people lose their shit, I don't know, but I like it.

It doesn't matter if it does nothing new.  The exchange news will make more people feel safe, especially new people.

Plus bitcoin has not even come clsoe to going below $220, a small dip form its peak, but we are still climbing more than we are going down right now.

If we dropped back to that range after the coinbase f you, we can continue on our nice steady rally where the real 300 will come soon enough.

So when we drop, relax.

Just a reminder of what this big bulltrap we had lately was:

I'm gonna spell it out for you guys:

Coinbase news was a pump&dump, exactly like the LTC on Huobi pump and all the other countless attempts to dump higher!
Insiders buy before anyone knows anything, all the other people buy at the announcement and at the countdown. Smart traders dump as soon as the site is online!

It's not difficult to understand! It's always the same thing.

Good thing coinbase is bringing regulation to BTC right? LOOOOOOOOL

The crash has officially resumed.
You're welcome.

It was just correction and it didn't even fall back to 245 but it stopped at 265.

They do not understand that and will keep posting until we are back around 245, where we level off.  Hopefully people do not buy until then so they can profit more later Smiley

No news - Pump to the moon!

Probably new money wires coming into places and such.

Hopefully Coinbase is done taking their profits on that rocket ship website and maybe throw a $1 million or two @ it of investors funds to restore market confidence.

If we get above $300 again today that'd be HUGE.

So by coinbase manipulating the price upwards again, investor confidence will be restored?
Its just getting bought by people hoping for that to 270 and dropping over and over until we get back to 250 (at least i hope we stop there, or go up for real of course)

I can't help but question the mentality of people who are selling under $300. Essentially BTC just got an official approval from US. Kinda hard to claim that an asset is a ponzi or a pyramid when it's licensed, trading in NY, and backed by NY stock exchange  Huh

When in the past week a fat guy on twitter and then a countdown of a rocket to the moon managed to convince a bunch of people to buy btc, well it does make you think.........either way go to the moon it helps me out Smiley

I stop trading from now on and put my coins in cold storage. There is no objective way to determine the price of bitcoin and without this I am not able to make rational decisions. With all the ongoing problems we have regarding exchanges there is strong evidence of insider trading, fraud and security weaknesses. All I know is that the market price is not matching the developement in the crypto space right now. Wether your bull or bear, be careful these days.

+1, some exchanges aren't playing by the rules and its either users set them straight or we hear crying and calls for regulation when they're caught short. If they can't operate transparently what are they hiding? If you're not asking that and insisting on control of your coins then you deserve to lose them.

When you have no options it is there way or no way.  Holding all you bitcoins and not selling and rebuying, shorting, etc when the price is clearly declining is how most of us lost money.  I know I have, and I doubt I am the only one.
It is not a person's fault if they get scammed, robbed, whatever, it is the criminals.

Wow no resistance into 230

Bears sleeping now ?

It's called a pump. A lot of people like Inca will get totally excited and think it's happening for real this time. They will quickly start buying because we'll never see these prices again. Once the losers bought and the price is 30 bucks higher the whales will dump straight in their face.

Yes, it's a crazy concept. Very difficult. Let me know if i need to explain it in more detail.

If we push past 230 you 250 280 then the manipulators will loose big time. They will do everything they can to keep it low As their target down has not been met.

Edit even come here and spread FUD

Don't be foolish, the same pattern has happened every day since monday.  We go down after 9am est, someone pumps it up slightly mid day, then we go down more towards the evening, than when China wakes up we reach a new daily low.

But go ahead and keep buying thinking we will go the moon. I'll be here to enjoy the show.

So you have sold all your BTC and purchased alts? What Alts have you purchased?

I don't own any coins. And how the fuck should i know what other coin will take over a year from now. Maybe it will be a completely different system that doesn't exist yet.
Crypto currency is the future but Bitcoin won't be involved. It already failed. The only reason it still exists is because traders taking their last profits from the few idiots left who still don't get it.

Bitcoin will be around, just at the moment it is not worth $230, it will be though some day.

http://blog.okcoin.com/post/109570662089/okcoin-in-my-words-star-xu

Enjoy the words of a desperate CEO Cheesy

"If Bitcoin forever stalls at a theoretical stage, the value can only become ever lower - all the way to 0. The development of real use cases for Bitcoin is fundamental. There is no point in dreaming of Wall Street becoming the next buyer or regulatory authorities helping to legitimize Bitcoin."

"If Bitcoin remains only on exchanges, then the likelihood of Bitcoin failing is fairly high. "

Or he is saying that btc needs to develop a price where it stays static, due to usage, which would then increase as actual usage increases....you know the goal of btc.......

Weekend dump, or weekend pump? That's the question now.

Oay attention to the sell volume  LTC/BTC. Its higher than the buy expect to see BTC//USD go up.

your theory don't make any sense, I saw your previous posts and I still don't really get it, I think it is just a conspiracy theory you have there....

I think it makes sense. So take a look at what's been going on @ BTC-E for the last section of time.

Right now:
1) they are Dumping bitcoin for litecoin. This is decreasing the cost of bitcoin and raising the cost of litecoin.
2) they are then selling litecoin for usd.
3) then they can buy bitcoin w/ usd, cheaper than what it was previously being sold at.

The inverse also happens when pumping bitcoin to increase litecoin holdings. It's a nice little triangluar pattern that they've been doing since the last bubble.
That combined with the massive amount of shorts has allowed market makers to increase holdings/profits while keeping others suppressed. IMHO

What's even sicker is the trades seem to happen near instantaneously between ltc/btc and ltc/usd, which as Sitarow suggests, keeps value at equilibrium.
I just wish I could understand it a little bit better to try and play the swings.

1) So they are swapping BTC for LTC, OK this doesn't decreases BTC but increase LTC price
2) Then they sell the bought LTC for USD which decreases the price of LTC to the previous price, now both BTC and LTC prices are decreased.
3) Then they buy Bitcoin cheaper, and bring the price back to were it was before, and then they repeat the same thing....

If all this hold for truth, all they are doing is creating volume and volatility, so they are forcing traders to trade which grant them more fees.... it just happened to be LTC and BTC because they are the only coins they have any volume on their site.

Besides, if only BTC-e was a market leader, I mean who even still trade at BTC-e ?
It makes sense, but I also like your theory about more trading = more fees.

mmitech is just butthurt he didn't get back into LTC ~$1.20 and missed the pump.

didn't buy it and not thinking about buying it, I have to admit LTC was the best performing coin in my portfolio, made good money with it but I don't see any reason for its existence... the pump and dump is over, and now it is just a bad copy of Bitcoin that doesn't want to change nor get special....

if I am going to ever invest in alts I would invest only in the promising v2.0 coins such as Ethereum, I would invest even in ripple and not LTC.

the 2.0 space is going to be much bigger by the end of the year. one of them is going to cause another wave of insane innovation.

Alts are all pump and dumps, or have such a small marketcap that they can be destroyed by one person.  Name one alt coin that has lasted more than a year in its hyped up position.

Don't get me wrong if you are going to invest in them scam to get money, go for it, but don't think they will sustain.  Look at darkcoin, the savior for gpu miners, secretive....or a huge pump and dump (that actually helped me alot), and is now what?Huh?? Nice 1k+ market buy on stamp  Cool Shorts on finex are up for 3k+ in last 2 days and we are still on the same level.

hmmmm

massive bid walls and yet someone is opening new 3 k of shorts.

not to mention no one tested 220.

Hah, agree with the picture  Grin
I think we are oversold at this point. Ask sides are really thin on all $ exchanges. Not much coins to 250$. We will probably see a spike to 250$ in next 24h.

Edit: another 800btc market buy on stamp happening right now  Wink Someone loading up.

Ever notice though how a 1k btc buy barely impacts the price upwards, yet a 1k btc sell causes the price to plummet?
Why do you think that is....shorting....manipulation.....even a 1k buy can't keep the price from declining to btc's actual usage level.......take your pick

Almost all volume over 5btc is fake volume, people speculating etc.  Think about it.
Ok someone may gamble $1,000 or more a day, but they are not buying that much drugs, metals, computer equipment, xbox shit, whatever on a daily basis.
What do you think an 1k btc buy is doing?  They are going to buy $230,000 of shit from new egg, or maybe a few kilos of gold from amagi lol, oh my yet we all fall for it.

So it would be a good time to buy then, instead of sell.

Probably.  It will get pumped 5-20 dollars and then slammed on us again, so if you like games why not  Tongue

The current average cost of production of bitcoins is in excess of $300. Purchasing a good below cost of production is considered cheap. Make the most, it wont last.

The actual cost is around 90$, for some miners even less.

There are huge upfront costs to be able to mine a BTC for $90.

Maybe if you are mining in mommy's basement with cheap electricity, but even then you are limited by your electric service.

What are the upfront costs?  Paying losers to promote their scam mining companies in sigs on btc talk?

dead cat bounce to 260?

Not any chance.  Anyone who is buying btc right now should be shot in the head, it will be the merciful thing to do.
The rest of us that have bitcoin should petition that owning btc requires xanax and we need it now!!!

All the retards woke up this morning and say hey lets buy bitcoin at a rapid rate for no reason.
It doesn't matter that we are trending downwards, no positive news came out, or that there was another fake buy wall at 220 today, nope no one cares.
Honestly If this pump brings us up to $300 again I am out.  The community, including myself is a bunch of delusional morons that seem to forget about what happened hours before.

Fun fact: I bought 10 btc for superbowl bets yesterday, and guess what, I am already down 90 bucks and the game didn't even start! Bitcoin at its finest!

I figured out what happened.  The manipulators are all hungover form partying their balls off with our profits and decided to take a day off!
My btc form yesterday stand a chance at being worth the same amount as yesterday!!! Shocked
Don't ask about the rest of them though Sad

So you haven't heard about the weekend dump and the corresponding sunday evening pump? Doesn't matter, because just as you have discovered the pattern, it will be the opposite. Welcome to speculation!

That you are right, the pattern changes to piss me off yet again.  I should be happy, but after the total fuck you pump last weekend, I have no faith in bitcoin, and I believe it is destined for nothing.
Every time bitocin gives you hope, it beats you down, and we come back like an abused housewife.

oh damn... Shocked is that real? how good is 7 sponsors in terms of getting a bill passed? US gov bullish on bitcoin much?

New Hampshire is the most Libertarian state in the Union and their government is a reflection of the people in this regard. The state motto is Live Free or Die. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were the first state to adopt Bitcoin in a real, legal fashion.

My state motto mocks bitcoin.

so we arrived at the point where upswings are market manipulation and falling prices are the only natural thing? k, thx for this insight

When the market moves up dramatically for no apparent reason, yes.

looks like swaps begin to turn bullish

Very bullish, futures are bullish and I see a lot of support so I decided to make a big move and buy a large amount for the first time. If I decided to do it, I imagine others will do it too.

mmmm, no, I wont.

You wont but I will try.

Lol dude, youre just following chinese P&D scheme. BTC hasnt touched decent support level to recover yet.

You are forgetting it takes people time to realize btc is a pump and dump scheme. It took me over a year to realize, so don't be to harsh on this guy.

Hmm I still haven't decided if I will short or long.. Any thoughts?

Long! Wall Street is buying gold and some traders who know bitcoins are buying bitcoins because they know what is coming to hit us.

getting my 'go long gold and bitcoins for what is coming' suit on right now.

You are going to be buying that suit at goodwill.  Why would anyone buy gold when platinum is cheaper?  I guess that is the bitcoin logic

yes you are totally right...you should open a huge margin short position...it's only a few thousand btc. to below 200 ... short now to increase your profit...obviously we will not go to 230 (not even 225?)...could be your last chance...

FULL MARGIN SHORT

Lmao child.  I had a short at 231, which I closed at 224 because now is the time for the manipulators to pump back to 230 and drop it again.  I would open a long, but I cannot confirm stupid children like you will continue to fall for it, so now is the time to wait.
