To be fair, I don’t expect you to believe NASA if you are a flat earther or think the moon landings were faked.
Flat earther and moon landing can not be linked together. Two different dimension to argue.

The earth is flat for the fools who do not have any idea about how gravity works, who do not know anything about basic physics. But moon landing was/is questionable and a lot of them make sense.

NASA is a big business centre.

I have a general rule not to debate with anyone on the internet who thinks or says:

• the earth is flat

•  the moon landings were faked

• cigarettes don’t cause cancer

So 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.  It is a beautiful day here and I hope you have a good one.

Anyone pls merit this post! Sadly, I don't have any.

 Roll Eyes
That's not how it works.
People are nice but not naive here, they don't send merits just because a guy with 22 posts asked for it.
Post more, you'll receive merits and you'll be able to send them to whoever you want... yourself.

Wait, I don't want the merits. I wanted someone to merit the quoted post of HairyMaclairy. Can't be stressed enough what he said.

Although its annyoing to not have any sendable merits. Like, I don't care about my own merits, I just wish I could like/dislike some posts to express my opinion on it. (which works with merits atm here)

Bitcoin and Friends, VLOG #4 | Living With Anya

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKFrnUcbACk

Not sure we're gonna get a 2nd episode. They need to raise 2.37 BTC to produce it. That's a shame, even though it's fucking weird (what's with the pee fetish in episode 1 lol ?), it's a good show.

Sooo, I guess Anya is a......shitcoin *badumtsss*

The bitcoin charts now look like a chart from a trader textbook, the chart looks exactly like a Bump-and-Run Reversal Bottoms

$BTC. Literally a textbook BARR bottom. Hint: This means bears are fucked.

OT: Coming at ya from the "omg-really-you-don't-say" department.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The stock market would be much lower if it weren’t for companies buying back their own shares

Well to be fair a majority of every day stock buyers have zero fucking clue how the market works.
So? We have no clue either...

Hi Lambie -
Multi-paties and all are fine, no problem with that.  However, whether it's one or many parties - organising anything within a week or so of breaking an arbitrary figure in price is at the very least difficult.  Just booking things up and people dropping everything to book a flight to get there means it is tough to see how it would work.

Fixing a date (based on Halvening, say?) and finding out well in advance how many takers there are makes it more feasible to set up, I would have thought.  Shoot me down, by all means - but people have lives and need to plan in advance - even decent hotels, restaurants etc are best booked in advance, surely...  Not many people will put a deposit down for a party on an unknown future date.  So how would you know numbers in order to book anything?

Also, for me and maybe I am not alone (I have no idea) I am not really up for hookers and blow. Never have been for the former, have weaned myself off the latter...  Call me a party pooper, if you like, but don't get me wrong; I do like the the idea of a party and a chance to meet people I have share the ups and downs with for years.  I also know some will head for the hookers and blow - and good luck to them, if they do - but I hope that is not all it is about. If there was a choice, I would be opting for beers and a chat.

Lastly, I might also like to explore a city and meet new friends with my partner in town with me. I may be alone in having this as a preference of course - but if it raises eyebrows to suggest this, I will just have to wait and hear tales of what I missed out on.

Edit: Some of this answered above while I was typing.
One could just plan it in a conference style way. Thats pretty much exactly what you want.

watching Newbies slowly coming in here and also in the German WO thread. this is a good sign for adoption I guess. maybe we will see a little peek above $15K (but no new ATH) before the end of 2019. just telling.

so when did you hear about Bitcoin for the first time?

EDIT: you are a forum member since below one year. but this could mean nothing. I've heared about Bitcoin over one year before I registered to the Forum because I thought FBI, CIA, NSA will hunt me if I do it earlier.  Grin
Somewhat as it was below 100$. But I lost track and got back like three years ago, as I discovered bitcointalk.

You actually think this will happen? These are insane amounts of money. Shows more like how hard it will be for Bitcoin to take the next 10x to me. (If Market Cap isnt fake)
