There are lot of noobs in Bitcoin who still haven't grew a pair so they panic on each bad news.
I'm a firm believer in the holding aspect. I am how ever am also like getting cheap coins. Wondering if fellows bitcoin speculators think this will turn out as bad as the recent china fud followed by micro crash..

This I predict will turn out far worse than the previous china  ban fud incident, as prices did not start fall this quickly or soon. This news is only hrs old and were already near $75 drop. Imagine when china and russia wake up. and when U.S. start getting of work. As most bitcoin investors have day jobs.

It took them two years to post something positive. Media will blow this out the water. People will panic. Especially Chinese as thing are easily skewed in translating to Chinese.

You must be new here... Read up on silk road.

Been trading BTC sense 2011. Bought of silk road once or twice. Dont see the correlation. People see a trusted bitcoin site/committee member arrested along with Russia fud. they get scarred. And dump. I believe in bitcoin understand prices will return. My point only is that their is going to be a rapid sell off soon, and I dont see how anyone can think not.

and why do you think we haven't already seen the sell-off? why do you think it takes the market 6+ hours to react to the fud?

Ever heard of the word "timezones"?

yes but china is at $795, bitstamp is at $760. when china wakes up, they might sell-off to around $760 too.
No one knows how much the sell off will be. But do we all agree their will be a sell off coming soon. Only point I was getting at. And yes I bought off the silk road, I dont do drugs, and what I bought was not illegal, Im not to worried....

Money controls the world. Banks control the money. News/media is controlled by the banks aka money. Banks hate bitcoin and will use this fud to their advantage, which this time, wont be hard. Your average bitcoin owner/investor does not understand cryptography/ complex mathematics or block chains or any of the technical aspects, most haven never even read satoshis work. My point is people invest based on trusted members of the bitcoin community advice. The entire bitcoin committee rite now looks no better then the thugs who run wall st, thanks to this Sherm. It sucks. But people have a drug addicted bar tender running what used to be a very trusted bit instant. People thoughts are going to wonder as to what the rest of the owners of bitcoin related website have their hands in. Such as GOX, who can denie that GOX is a ticking time bomb

What about several 0.2 transactions then?  Wink
that would equal 0.6 BTC?, you would have to do 50 transactions to get your 10 BTC. 1 out of 3 would get lost for over 48 hours, if not forever.

The orders on the exchange are working perfectly, I just tried.

What do You suggest?

Confirmed withdraw transaction of 11.2BTC just now to my wallet from Gox. Gox is not a church but please don't spread FUD. Kthxbye.
Not spreading FUD. I would actually say the same to you. There are website that have recently came up just to keep track of all the messed up transactions. Their are people who have been waiting over a week for their BTC. Funny part is, ts always a large transaction that gets stalled for days, weeks. Yeah some get through fine here and their. The majority of BTC is being stalled or held when you try to withdrawl BTC. Funny how deposits work seamlessly, lol dont lye to yourself and the public and say GOX is ok. Its not. Rite now their worse than your average bank. Anyone using Gox is taking a huge risk, and thats the truth not FUD

It people realizig that if the hold it could be months/years untill they see profit of their original investment. Its called cutting your loses.

It is a bot selling now for a few days... (coins from one holder)
Actually its not. Most bots are not in use. This is voluntary dumping based off fear of a unpredictable market. Why hold at 500 when you can cut your loss at 500 then buy back at 400. This is everyone's mindset currently.

I bought gallons at 340 while everybody was saying "Please don't say Gox on this thread, gox is dead."

I think people will start realize the opportunity missed when we surpass Stamp.

If gox surpasses Stamp again , this will be one hell of a ride Smiley))

It won't even matter once he can send his coins to another exchange. $340 coins are $340 coins once they can be moved around properly.

I wasn't talking about him specifically.
Just think that coins where 1/2 the price of stamp a few hours ago , and by recovering 240$ on top of what bitstamp price might grow ....
This growth is insane by my standards.
Bitcoin 2009: $1.... 2014: $850... Wellcome to bitcoin. Nuff said?

People laughed at me when i started shortin @ 840$ . I can live with that.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Yeah but it snapped back on your ass. You finally sold your shorts for a meager profit before buying back. While you were out you went silent like a slug.  Now you are short again, except this time you are going to sell for a loss or stop out soon as Gox reopens withdrawals and we bounce again. You'll probably give up a fiat bit of the profits you made on the first trade.

Well i stated a few hours ago that i closed my shorts @ 580$ , which have been opened @ 840$, i also stated that i will short again between 650-690$, when the price was@630 which turned out to be not the badest idea so far. Do you have any kind of personal agenda with me? I´m pretty pleased with my profits, thanks again for askin?
Just keep on actin like a dick.

Of course I have a personal issue with you. You are annoying scum. I don't care that you don't believe in bitcoin and are here just to try and make a buck. I don't care that you are short. But I think you are dispicable as you constantly lie to try and manipulate the readers of his forum. You are the exact same scum that makes the btc-e troll box a fucking hell hole and you brought that same dark and twisted and extremely self serving and immature attitude and energy to this forum. And I hate you for it.

You are a dark person and not at all well. You are certainly not the type of person I would welcome into my home or advise my loved ones to associate with. You pretty much represent the lowest common denominator of individual in the bitcoin space.

+1
Fonzi your Scum, just admit it

Tell that to the sheep that sold at ~$300...
lol it is actually simple: don't sell or buy unless you are confident. buy after lots of selling. sell after lots of buying.
+1 couldn't be easier

Wait wait wait, so you actually went bullish at 580$ and closed your shorts and were expecting the price to shoot up to 650-690?!?! But yet at the same time continued to troll saying that the price will go to $300? Haha at least keep your stories straight and don't claim to cover your shorts that make you sound bullish
I swear to god, Fonzi seriously owns absolutely No Bitcoins or has less than 5. Guarantee

Any reason for the huge BTC-E(610) - Stamp(635) spread?
Has anyone of them FIAT/BTC deposit/withdrawl problems?

Any reason you comment on things you know nothing about?

its not to late GOXBTC might soon be valued more than actual BTC, GOXBTC IS THE FUTURE
The feeling you get when you realize you've sold your entire stash for 0.35 BTC, And now are watching it rise. Damn thats gotta suck. Mt. Gox to the Moon, even adam, writings on the wall
