I may regret this in the morning, as it will cause some people to want to trade against me, but I feel that I need to put it out there. Bitcoin TA is heavily manipulated at the moment, by at least 2 parties. Be careful out there.

Could you please explain it in more detail? Is it the ask spikes I'm seeing @ 750 and 768 Bitstamp? Or something completely different?

The reason people don't understand Bitcoin is that we get too caught-up in the details instead of just saying "its a currency and payment system that gets rid of all those fees you pay with Paypal and credit cards. Here, you set it up like this (download Electrum wallet, then send them some coin and have them send it back to you). There, thats all there is to it. If you want to buy coins setup an account on Coinbase (or other). If you want to accept Bitcoins for your business, setup an account on BitPay and they will instantly be converted to USD. Later."

Out of context, but very very true

I think it might still go either way, it's hovering around the last top. It looks it could go up but it might as well go down instead.

Please release and open this up on github when you are ready. I (and I suspect many others) would be interested in using and contributing to this. I've asked coinbase if they plan on adding this feature and they never reply back...

Yes I made it out of frustration myself. I will open it on github and will PM you once it's there.

Can I do this with coinbase or is that too much? I'd love to not have to hold fiat on an exchange.

You will be fine as long as daily purchases are under $50k USD.

That looks like an easy way to get your coin base account hacked!  Shocked

Not really. The app asks for permissions to buy and sell BTC. That's it.

The access tokens are stored encrypted.

Even if I decrypted them and put them publicly online, attacker would still need another key stored elsewhere to use the tokens.

The only risk is that I will go crazy one day and start buying and selling coins on your account for fun.

Stamps at 666

this is not good....
It's great actually, for those of us who were sleeping last November, because now is the chance to slowly buy in as the price goes down.
