Is anyone using bitcoinwisdom.com ? I just stumbled upon it via reddit and I'm shocked I never knew about it. It's like clarkmoody...but with better graphs and a harder to read order book... at least to my eyes.

Is there still no official comment from Gox on Dwolla?

With several of these large dumps they typically precede public bad news (read:inside information). I'm a bit fearful that's what might be coming today. We'll see.

The point here is if you do a normal iTunes backup without encryption enabled, and then move to a new phone with a restored backup all your google auth tokens will be gone for good. Source: happened to me last month.

Actually it was scary easy just to email the services and ask them to remove 2 factor auth so I could login and re-enable. (CampBx, Coinbase, etc)

3) insider trading (I don't know which news can dramatically crash BTC market now)

Early knowledge that Gox will be resuming USD withdrawals shortly.
Not likely, but it was the first thing that came to mind.

I'm not sure if there is a delay, but blockchained.com is showing explosive amounts of USD sitting on Gox.

$32M ATH (maybe rpietila's fiat) :-)
where can you see that?

at the top of http://trading.i286.org/ or http://blockchained.com scroll down to the Gox order book graphs

$34.8 million now on the Gox order book. This is up from around $13 million at the start of October.

I understand continuing to use Gox as I've been using them since the very beginning, but I certainly wouldn't be sending them additional $ if I wanted to buy BTC in the last few months.

Is this perhaps USD that was always there, but not on the order book? Or are folks really sending new $ there? Perhaps the Second Market guys? Other large investors? I could see them not going to Bitstamp due the lack of liquidity. I still believe (no evidence) that Gox has private deals with large players for USD withdrawals. But they can't risk opening up that faucet to everyone and having it turned off until their issues with the US Gov and CoinLab are addressed.

The biggest factor for using gox with me is the trust issue. Not that I trust they wont be shit at exchanging, but I semi-trust they are in this for the long run and they are established. My biggest fear is whilst leaving my coins/fiat on an exchange they get seized by their local gov or they disappear with all users coins. This risk is real with BTCChina, as the Chinese government already did this with QQ's trading commodity, then there's Bitstamp, who's bank is based in Slovenia, they could easily do a 'Bitcoin-24' to their user's. Gox however has stood the test of time so-far. For which i can at least applaud them and have a sense of security in them.

I completely agree. Having used Gox since May of '11 and gone through all the various things that have happened. I reluctantly trust them more than the other players. Horrible communication? Yep. Poor (scripted) customer service? Yep. Not much has changed in over 2 years. But I certainly keep lower balances there at any given time then I used to, given the potential loss risk.

Is it just me having changed some setting or have MtGox just changed their trading interface into an annoying and completely useless one?

Yes looks like they changed it for the worse.

With he new buy/sell interface on Gox does anyone know if there is still the info that says what your current trading fee and 30 day volume is (and by extension how much volume you need to move down to the next lowest fee)? I can't find it anywhere. With the last no fee period on Gox I was able to get to trade enough to get way down and then stay there for the next 30 days once the fee resumed. Now I can't seem to tell.

My order just got filled on GOX : it took almost 4 minutes for a BUY Market Order !!

Yes there is currently 4.5 mins of lag on the gox engine. You can see it on Bitcoinity. That's what makes these crashes painful, the prices you are seeing and trying to make orders against are really that far in the past. You're placing an order for where it will be 4 minutes in the future or sometimes 2 mins or sometimes 8 mins...
