Dammit, if these kind of bitcoin sales keep happening I'll be completely out of fiat in no time. So much for my plan of only dipping my toes in bitcoin.
Panic bought in at the ATH with a premium (forgot to buy in 2012 and got distracted till I realized my mistake only this december) and have been buying in just about all the sales since then.
This is an interesting option.
I'd like that to happen, but as someone who holds some millions of euros in several accounts, spread all over - what would be the incentive to buy bitcoin instead of gold, or real estate for that matter...
Confiscation, although it will have another name, like how the Netherlands is now "cutting spending" by robbing all large pools of money like the funds of pensions and housing-corporations in an effort to stimulate the economy and spending. Funny how the press just repeated the statement like it was the most normal thing in the world. However if I were to follow their example and cut my spending at a cash register or with the help of some wealthy looking person in a dark alley I'd be put in jail for days. No wait, jailtime in days was for murder small scale economic crimes off course deserve far harsher punishment, I'm talking weeks maybe months man, the inhumanity.
This China ban news is starting to get a bit old, is there a way to get things over with and be done with it?
I want more diverse bad news for the downtrend till around April.
Btw I have been wondering for a while, there seem to be a lot of people who are convinced that the Chinese just about own bitcoin, but what actual proof is there? The exchanges operate with zero fees and they have been caught sticking on extra zeros. Add to that that there are around 250k btc-addresses with more than 1 BTC worlwide, I don't see how that equals to millions of Chinese btc-holders.
go to 400 already
Sell a bit of BTC on Huobi and smash through those fake orders and you'll get what you want.
Watch the Coin Summit with Bobby Lee where he describes the fakery on Chinese exchanges. My proposal is to just remove all Chinese exchanges from the trackers like bitcoinwisdom and such, untill China exchanges start providing
proven real numbers. After watching that video, I now think that the promise of China banning those fraudulent exchanges is just about the most bullish news you could hope for.
Untill someone comes up with real, proven numbers, Chinas' btc-marketshare is overblown by multiple factors of ten.
