TERA, can you add some explanations? Turning point? Strong support? Do you think the 2015 bull market has ended? If so, what is target for a next bull trap? and for the bottom? Sorry for so many questions, but I remember your very accurate multi-year chart from early 2014, that turned rather prescient.

Tera got a lot of stick for being bearish, but ignoring Tera's posts is unwise.  Tera is a damn good trader, and better than the vast majority here.

Flipped you a merit, sorry your account was hacked.

Edit: I wish I had taken more notice in 2013, this time I listened more intently.

Hi kurious, thank you for the merit, it will be my first Smiley Yeah, being around since 2014, I remember who did good TA around here.

Not sure what happened with my account: both password and security question (written in a language few people know, with the answer I know for sure) are not working, mods say unlocking accounts is their lowest priority. Heard many olds accounts were hacked, and are being sold, so I assumed that mine was probably hacked, too Sad

On the other hand, who would think couple years ago that old bitcointalk talk accounts will be hacked and sold? MasterLuc's account was sold to a Chinese guy for $600!

Wouldn't a decent auditor pay attention to dates and times? Or do they now have a bank that's willing to fix the books? I suppose they could  persuade Omni to do a hard fork to change those dates and times too.

The point in case is that every single tether should be backed by a dollar bill. I think this is what the regulators care most about.

the timing is actually important...they need to back before creating

yeah, what I was thinking is IF they are selling BTC to pay for Tether to cook the books...I"m not even sure if that is 'illegal' as long as you make up the difference on your claim that you

back btc with usd to backstop the tether ..better late than never ..as such...

thus..this dump could make a lot of sense if tether folk are playing 'catch up' at our expense with the price dump Sad

(that sounds too simple to be correct...just tossing it out there)

I'm not a fun of Finex, but I think there is nothing wrong with tethers currently for the simple reason: arbitrage. If people would have substantial difficulties with withdrawing fiat from Finex, they price will reflect it. Like late Mt. Gox, when BTC price run up as the only way to withdraw funds. Or BTCe, where prices where always lower, since that exchange was mainly used for cashing BTC, not buying.

Masterluc thinks it's over.

Well, so the present drop ends somewhere in the red circle.

So, the price hit somewhere close to 61.7% Fibonacci of the entire growth from 150 to 19800.

You know what it means? That the Third (wave?) is completed and we became its witnesses =) For this, congratulations to you.

What's next? Next is the Fourth (going on now). And then the Fifth somewhere in the area of 100k.

The current drop will bounce back very well into the area of 13,000-15,000 in the short term, where those who bought up on my advice will be able to sell off, but have already managed to curse everything and wet the diapers. Bleed there, because it is not for you.

The critical level at 7700 does not really matter anymore, because I see that the wave is over.

Well, here's my idea for trading watching https://ru.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/hg0S8xjw-historical-3-looks-to-be-completed/

He seems to have a glaring error in his count. If the historical 3 is over and the historical 5 will go near the top trendline, then his historical 3 will be the shortest wave in height. His 3 would need to be a (3) for his count to make sense.

+1. This does not make any sense and goes against what ML has been saying until 7.7k dump. He also said 4 in his current count would be months only, again makes sense only as 4th subwave of 3, as windjc pointed. ML is a incredible analyst, but he had been under a lot of pressure from literary thousands of followers and he did this prediction in real time, during intense dump, which take many oldtimers, included Enky, aback. I think ML will soon go back to his original count (from May) with historical 3rd reaching 40-100k sometime in 2018/19. Or, if thing turn for the worse, for multiyear correction to 2-5k.

As widjc, I would not be surprised if the weekly close would be above MA-20 or even 10k. For me, that would be a confirmation that we are repeating Spring 2013 pattern.

this arsehole is happy when people lose money? and he thinks bitcoiners are nasty and crazy?

he clearly hasn't met eth-heads, btrash-butthurts or ripple-fanboys yet. or the worst of all: iota disciples...

I think he will not be laughing for long. Let save this tweet for the (next leg) of the bubble Smiley.

I think this is also from MR and its spot on till now.

Yes, this is from MasterLuc. He very recently changed his views, though, and says we are now in the 4th (corrective) wave.

I have read on Russian forum (https://vk.com/bitcoin_vanga) that vanga thinks Wave 4 finished but he gives low probability that we may see lower lows. Being vague in other words and leaving open option that Elliott Wave 4 is not yet over. I think one can watch the daily 200 MA for clarification:

ML does not think the wave 4 has ended. If you click on "show previous comments" below, in the first one Olga asks him how long the wave 4 would last. Lower, Vanga says "likely not a whole year, a couple months, not enough data to tell exactly" (loose translation).

Last time it breached the 200EMA within 9 weeks of ATH was in 2011 and it wasn't as deep.

TERA, you mean a long-term bear market is coming? If so, what is your bottom target: 3.5-4 or closer to the previous ATH, 1.5-2k?

I still believe in at least 13-16k bounce short term, price is recovering nicely so far, albeit slowly. I read the recent price action as an accumulation by big players.

Ive been saying for months there would be a bounce from 5.5K to the low teens before proceeding with the bear market. The next bottom after that would be 3K. However, it could take a really long time and there would be other bounces off 5.5K first.

Ya sure I remember at 20K this board had said bitcoin had matured yada yada and the 'big players were accumulating and manipulating it down to 16K'. As if the world's brightest investors hadnt bought at 1K and below and were suddenly interested at buying at a 1600% premium on top of a bubble at ATH. lol. Dont buy all the bull

TERA, thank you for your answer. You also mentioned elsewhere that "we will see 100k before 1k". So do I understand your prediction correctly: 13-14k bump first (your chart), then bumpy fall to ~3k (about a year?) then another bull to ~100k, and then a mega bear market to ~1k?

This bear market is progressing very fast so far, so I wondered if it is realistic to assume that even *if* we will make another lower low, it will be over by a year's end?

Support wont do anything about it unless I sign a message with a bitcoin address but I never posted one. It's kind of an arcane policy.

Ridiculous isn't it? I lost my account too, had to create this one. No one will do jack shit for me because I haven't signed an address.... it's simply asinine.

I also cannot get back control of my old account.

Im still planning on leaving, but my plans to accumulate certain altcoins were interrupted and im waiting for the next dip. My bitcoin accumulation is over.

TERA, do you mind sharing which altcoins you are accumulating?
