Have watched many pages of this thread and what I concluded is,
The thread ain't getting what it is made for, it was for the tracking of price movement and what I saw disappointed me a lot as out of these 11k pages, I bet that >50% of them are just bullshit and trolls which aren't expected here, as some important contents for the betterment of knowledge of people watching this thread gets hidden due to this.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Small overnight rise I see.
Still waiting for the big post-auction dump the trollbears promised.
Maybe this will be like the previous 2 auctions and actually lead to a price rise.
Will $280 hold? Dare I even dream of $300?
Mmmmm. Coffee.
Any links on the declaration of the results of auction?
Been watching everywhere, but didn't get any yet, just so many posts claiming that it is true that the auction went good with some 34 bids.

Seems like a snowfall in the markets as they have been silent since yesterday, not much movements and the volubility of people has since been harmonizing with the value of BTC.

what a good time to be earning dollars, spending euros and holding bitcoins - which is exactly what I am doing

This year will be interesting for sure. I sense a big crash coming...but not in bitcoin

Might be EUR/USD you talking about?
Have been watching the charts, but can't conclude as to why is this happening. Is it confirmed that Greece has left the Eurozone?

its official holding USD is now safe and smart!
but, but.....what about BTC?
Bitcoin? Bitcoin is the
worst investment of 2014 and 2015 Q1

Do you actually think it's worst?
Then what has made you come here and start boasting around?

what's happening is that the dollar is a worthless piece of paper while the euro manages to be even more worthless. meanwhile bitcoin is gaining traction as a form of honest money. USD and EUR will both go down the drain eventually. I have been betting on EUR getting there first for years now.
It always had been. The only reason we need to use fiat is, without them, we cannot get BTC currently as what might valuate it?

I unno....Goods and Services?
And everything that has a price
You seem to have a two-sided rolling tongue, as before you were barking a lot saying BTC to be worst, and now advocating regarding the same based on my question.

And what about the pleasures and lifestyle that people might get using just fiat unless BTC is accepted worldwide?

Are we going to the moon or what

Awesome, was actually waiting to see such comments.
No, we ain't going any moon, but Jupiter this time.

Stop asking for moons as we must look for some floors instead of expecting high spikes.

Is it only me, or have we had extreme non-volatility the last ca 24 hours?
Non-volatility or we should call it as "Stability"?
While knowing there won't be any much movements in the markets, it feels great to not watch the charts all day long just for the sake of price.

I've always been amazed by your ability to always make money by always selling bitcoins and never buying any (to close your shorts).
Ha, well he's more of a troll and is completely against Bitcoin or unregulated assets in general. The high rate of failures and scams (which are bad, but natural given the unregulated nature of BTC) foster his cognitive dissonance what this is concerned even further ^^
What I said applies to the bear trolls in general. They always claim the price is going down and disappear during upswings. Either they are pure trolls only interested in annoying people or they are secretly buying when they are trolling he most.
Yeah I believe they can be split up into two kinds of people: Those who only denounce Bitcoin and get something out of simply doing that, and those who try to influence the price, go short, and also reassure themselves that they did the right thing shorting.
In fact, they want to get their so-called "emotions" satisfied by either thinking that they are doing it right or by asking people to do it the wrong way.

I'm not buying. At $250 maybe.
250 and below is a great place to buy. i am out of the market for at least a few weeks though. this alone could cause more dumps .. maybe i can find some dust laying around to trade with .
Might be a good support level, but don't forget that if it breaks back above $302, chances are it might test the resistance which seems somewhat strong at $326.

Ha, yeah that's how it is. Emotions... That's basically effectively what it is. But let's not forget that we do an incredible amount of things just due to our emotions! We trade BTC because we want to gain wealth... Emotions.
Hey, not everybody thinks like that, some may also trade it for fun, and some use it to buy things cheap which are available at most of the places because of which people sometimes agree on using BTC instead of going with fiat to purchase something. Trading "emotionally" can't get you anything except "losses".
Cut your emotions to cut your losses.

wow GBP / USD showing some bitcoin type volatility!
Why does dollar strength equal Bitcoin weakness though?
Soon after the forex markets went crazy, bitcoin fell like $20, that doesn't make sense to me!
All commodities went up strongly, oil, gold, silver, so it Bitcoin not a commodity then? Is it a currency? then it should go up in $ too, like the pound and the € did, so we mustn't be a currency either... odd.
I don't think that the events or moves in Forex has anything to do with Bitcoins, they are totally different subjects.
Bitcoin can't be called a part of Forex, as it works completely different, ain't just being a currency but being as a whole lot of speculations, sentiments but these things come into forex though, so they are in each other on one hand, and on the other, they have nothing to do with each other.
