Here's an interesting observation I made
there's a support trend line that dates back to October and has 6 touches ever since then, and the recent drops to 6k and 6.6k line up perfectly with it - if the price heads down towards it these days they'd meet around 6900
this is the weekly timechart btw

BTC price movement is making it's way down to the long-term trend support line that had like 6 touches since October, and it lines up at around 6900 right now.
I have my buy orders set just above 7k, hoping they'll hit soon and we can start our reversal.
If we break below that trend line we're probably looking at a prolonged bear-market, but I doubt that will happen. On the upside we will however need some more volume to get through that 200DMA

I'm actually really impressed with the volume on this pump right now, we haven't had a 4hour volume candle this high in a loooong time.
Might be something here, but I still think we need to touch at least 6930 - the long term support line

Fuck, 7400+ now, nice to see.
Nope... not going to last...

Sell or get burned to the stake!

I don't know a lot of people have been waiting for any sign for a reversal this could be it.

For reversal it needs to do that...
it doesn't ''need'' to do anything, the market doesn't owe you or me anything, and it's irrational at times.
and that other post of yours, I'm not even going to comment on it ''it doesn't need volume'' lol, yeah it doesn't need it but it's the best indicator for future price movement, and the only thing we can say for sure is that if there are no buyers and sellers it's all dead - so yeah, turn it the way you want it still needs volume

here we go

edit, was just a wick up
will break 7600 tonight for sure
We'll see, might as well start our way down to touch the trend line at 7k
I know the pump the other day made a lot of people bullish but we might want to wait for some confirmation. We're still below the ichimoku cloud, below all EMA's, and the volume isn't all that great.
We'll see, patience

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we're back over $7.5kUSD... currently $7555USD/$9801CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Tried to buy a couple of thousand fiat bucks at my local low-sell-fee ATM but the General Bytes machine had run out of thermal paper to print my redeem ticket so I had to wait until today. Nice to see the price up a wee.
The price rise may be small but every little bit helps when you're an old-age pensioner trying to eke out a living selling small amounts of Bitcoin.

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

BTC is just pressing up against that trend resistance line and doing nothing...like a virgin trying to get some action
and I don't think it will end well, we might head south very soon to test that 7k and lower territory
You must be new here
Not at all. Remember this? Back to trading I am shorting when I see a proper set up.

that was a good call
don't remember seeing many people posting about good exit points during that run from 10k-20k

7 of the past 8 mondays have been red, so this was kind of expected
also, since the beginning of the year, the 6th in every month alternated between the highest and lowest price point for that period - so we might see a continuation going on for another 2 days.
We'll see, stay cautious traders

what do you guys think which way this ascending triangle is going to break? upwards movement would pave the way to at least 9000

the downtrend is still intact on the daily, I wouldn't call it an reversal before we hit at least above 6550 which would mean a higher high swing

back in bussines
BULL SEASON returned .

This just all reminds me of when I spent thousands & thousands buying bitcoin’s when they were about $500-$600 only for the price to sink all the way down to $150 & stay there for ages. I was really down about it tbh & thought I’d totally wasted a shit tonne of money but we all know what happened then.
Moral of the story - FUCKING HODL & we’ll see another epic bull run in the next 2 years.
I still don’t like seeing the price dump but it doesn’t worry me anywhee near as much as it used to.
Pretty confident we’ll all be ridiculously rich 2021 onwards.
are you rich right now? do you work a 9-5?

yup, working 7am to 6pm. acquire more FIAT which we can exchange to
BTC. get rich and retired in 2022.
you've been in this game way longer than I have so I just want to ask some questions, hope you don't mind.
Does the fact that you bought bitcoin like 5 years ago make any difference on the life you live right now moneywise, do you take profits and buy stuff you otherwise couldn't afford with your job, or do you just reinvest more?

Do you guys like Deribit? I only just got into it but the interface is so confusing. I can't set the leverage? Is it always on 100x? Someone explain cross margin and sub accounts to me.
I do and I love it actually, no downtime or slippage during important moves.
Once you get used to cross leverage you'll have no problems
