did they implement the new engine midas ? they didn't mention anything but I am really curious what kind of maintenance they had !
According to this tweet from MagicalTux - it's not Midas, but it includes a pre-requirement for Midas..

what is Midas?
Midas is the new trading engine, that can do 500k transactions/second, so we can flashcrash to 0 in a matter of seconds when fbi dumps those SR seized coins

Does someone have a link to a BTC China ticker? Or isn't there one?
i use
http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/btcchina/btccny . not perfect, but better and faster than bitcoinity for me..
bitstamp is down again... starting to become annoying
Getting flash-backs of Gox in April. With their awful UI, not good at all.
I've been getting burned several times with the lag and downtime of stamp... i've lost btc now.. as much as i was gushing about bitstamp's fees it seems its really only for cashing out and i should move back to gox to trade. irritating.
Same here,Got burnt too in trading, stamp is just not good enough platform for trading and there is less much volatility than on gox.
fucking hammering an order in to find out that they've locked out my funds on another order that I can't see.. after lag. wasn't good yesterday.
they need to have everything on one screen, cost me a couple hundred dollars / BTC whatever you look at it even though my moves were correct and I saw everything coming. Would have worked fine on gox. No perfect way to do it
and now stamp is down, great
As a backup you can use some kind of trading tool like
http://qtopentrader.com/ (supports gox,stamp,btc-e,btcchina) , that uses trading through api and is more user friendly than clicking through web interface. Even has trading rules ability, that lets you make subsequent orders / sells based on various parameters..
cool.. even got the famous 10k
BTC pizza on their frontpage

is there a site with SUM ASK for BTCchina to see how many coins are available?
btccharts.com says they have about 5000 coins left....
Edit:
They are also trading at $295.50 currently.
thanks..
thats the least from 3 major exchanges. looks like china might lead the panicbuy / crash
some heavy trading engine throttling to prevent lag on gox..
guess everybodys waiting whether china breaks the psychological 2000 yuan barrier..
whoa.. is this real life?
