None of the wallets on their site supports it?

I tried bitpie and it didn't have it listed. Pretty sure Electrum doesn't. I don't know about the 3 Chinese wallets, I was hoping someone else might have found one.

Well, it's finally here. This is is truly the beginning of the end. And I'm serious. Wall street will put this thing out of its misery once and for all. We'll see 10k before the end of the year for sure. 2018 will be a horror show back below 1k. 2019 will be the year the world tries to figure out just what the hell happened. 2020 the world moves on and bitcoin becomes a memory.

Coinbase merely added Bitcoin Cash as fast as they could...stop acting like there's a conspiracy behind the time of the release.

Originally they said Jan 1st, 2018 so I'm glad they are ahead of schedule.

You don't think it's a teensy weensy bit timed? And the only thing they confirmed was the distribution of BCH which as far as I know still hasn't happened so may well still be that date. They said precisely nothing about adding to GDAX or Coinbase retail until it came out of nowhere a few hours ago and was instantly ready, though it' was obviously a possibility.

That is not a conventional way to launch any type of trading.

He's trolling.

* Roger Ver, CEO of Bitcoin.com, said on CNBC's "Fast Money" that for years he's recommended investors not hold bitcoin on exchanges, which can be hacked.

* But right now, he said, investors may want to keep their holdings on an exchange so they can easily transfer their funds into another digital coin in case bitcoin falls out of popularity.

Roger Ver, CEO of Bitcoin.com, said Wednesday on CNBC's "Fast Money" that "bitcoin miners" may shift their processing power over to bitcoin cash if the offshoot becomes popular enough.

As a result, "you might want to consider holding your bitcoins on your exchange, so if there's a mass exodus of people rushing for the door, your money will already be on the exchange, so you can sell your bitcoin core coins for more bitcoin cash or whatever else you want," Ver said.

This guy is even more insane than I thought...

Most my coins are on the exchange too. The MtGox exchange.

Yes. It's a market closed to foreign money so it always does it own thing. It's irrelevant to the rest of the world.

It's the first day I've noticed coinmarketcap listing btc higher then the price on gdax. They must be using Bithumb to calculate the price.

If you are an early adopter, post which was the first GPU you ever mined with.

Mine was the Radeon 6990. It was very expensive but it mined Bitcoin at almost 1GH/s, mined LTC at 800MH/s, mined X11, mined XMR, mined ETH.

40nm technology compared to the 16nm we use today.

The card actually can still pull in $2-3 a day.

Ran at 90C and never had any failures or fan issues.

I have about 20 of the 5990's. The real old school miners. They still mine but video is screwed up on them.

try to double spend your coins to a new address where you own the private key.

put a very high fee in this tx and hopefully your tx will be confirmed before the tx of the theft.

I am waiting for my core wallet to load, will be done in a few mins. Won’t it just have a balance of 0? If you could let me know how to do it I would appreciate it.

without balance?
maybe it would be possible if someone loaded your keys into his walet and did it from there. but i never tried catching slower transaction this way, so im not sure

I did send out a transaction but it’s not showing on blockchain. The thief sent a real low transaction fee so it should be a while but doesn’t seem to be working.

How were your funds stolen?

Windows 10, I just did a fresh install a few days ago. I haven’t installed much other then btc, Ltd, ripple wallet. Not sure how I got a virus. It turned off windows defender and I only saw it detected a virus when I turned it back on. This is after I already noticed my coins moving on the blockchain. I don’t keep wallets on on my pc but I had them on for a min earlier today to move some coins.

You have to hit that accelerator right on the hour as only 100 tx are allowed per hour.  Also it is very busy most of the time.  You might have more luck getting the tx accelerated if you have more than one person attempting to get it through.  You have one minute!

Sorry for posting way off topic this morning, I was in panic mode. I know you guys are always on here, and I appreciate your help. Looks like I actually got my coins back now. (mind blown) I got on this morning to send a transaction, I was watching it on the blockchain, 2 hours later. A separate transaction appeared sending my remaining coins to unknown address. Which turns out, is one of my own hidden addresses. I know change can be sent back to hidden addresses, my understanding is it's always in the same Transaction ID though. This transaction shows on the blockchain with it's own ID but doesn't show in my wallet.

That's the first time I've ever seen a backdoor virus detected on this pc and I definitely did not turn defender off myself. Maybe that's just a coincidence and it was leading to draw the wrong conclusions. I dunno. I did a format and reinstall of windows 3 days ago because windows was reporting corrupt system files when trying to update. I've only installed programs I consider trustworthy since, so I'm really surprised to find a backdoor got on here. Anyway, think I'm going to take a nap when my blood pressure returns to normal.

On a sour note, the second attempt to double spend that transaction I send a .1 btc fee. A little overkill, lmao. Of course that's the one that went through. Miners are making a killing today.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still going sideways I see... currently $14702USD/$18464CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Old coins are worth $17556USD/$22042CAD each (Coinmarketcap).

Real mineable altcoins are generally down while non-mineable garbagecoins are generally up, led by the darling of the banks, Ripple. What a joke.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin is holding its own. Time to play wait and see.

Better Ripple than Bcash I suppose.
