I see no reason for hoopla. It's just going to go back down again and we will be stuck around 800 again for some more boring days.
Purely based on the previous period i think we won't go up either. Once the buying stops we will drop back to 900 on Gox again. People are too afraid to let it go to 1000+ and won't let it sit at 970 for a while either. They just need to bring it down to 900 for some strange reason. We need to get out of this circle. We need a few big buys that take us well over 1k.
If we drop back to 900 again it will be even more difficult to reach 1000. The selling around 1000 will be even worse etc.

however sadly everyone at the bar requires bitcoin to be backed by a government.. I kept saying why is it you trust the government so much to make your currency worth something. no answer.

I was also looking at the chart on Bitcoinwisdom. The chart on
https://www.huobi.com/ shows the same thing.
Here is the section that puzzles me:
As mentioned the graph on Huobi shows the same thing, so unless they also have a bug I find it a bit fishy.
Bitcoinwisdom has stated that the bug is on Huobi but that is the only data source they have so they must show the bug prices or nothing.
though I still see nothing fishy on bitcoin wisdom at the moment.

A few moments later all traders agree that 3540 is both the perfect price to sell at and buy at. It must be a machine/script. But why???

Sounds like algo trading stress test, in HFT theses algoritms sometimes are used to break futures contracts ... algo are looking when controled variable diverges, etc.. at least it was what occurr to my mind now, pehaps because I am reading a book, about "mini dark pools" ...
