Oh right, before I forget. Headline in one of todays danish newspapers: Woman paid to have her husband assassinated for $5000; paid in bitcoin.
They really don't want normal people getting on board.
To even make it worse.
TMZ just ran one of their "This in the news!" segments on bitcoin.
They said they bought $1000 worth of it and it is down already and lost investment worth.
Now if that won't downplay it's potential then I don't know what will.

They were the first to report on Harvey Weinstein accuser so you know when there is rag news they report on it.

920 stinking Satoshis per Byte for a transaction?
I have one wallet with €500 in it, my max spend is €240 with a €260 fee! This really is the future! Bitcoin Cash isn't the answer, I know, but someone needs to come up with an answer, or people will dump this 'currency' hard soon.
I get the idea that the current crash doesn't have anything to do with the fees though, it's just a random correction.
Had the same thing happen to me.
They are saying 0.028btc in fee to pay soon for all transactions!

That is $425. Are they fucking insane?

Another obituary. Coolio.
I give credit to BTC where it's due i.e for clearing the way for the alternate cryptocurrencies. It's an achievement that will be written in the pages of history. But the reality is that newer cryptos are speeding past it and it's just a matter of time (maybe a few months or even less) before the king is dethroned.
Yep, today it almost got dethroned by FirstBlood, someone bought 0.002 tokens for 0.13 ETH.
Made FirstBlood second on coinmarketcap, if someone buys 0.002 for 0.26 ETH tomorrow bitcoin is screwed.
Yikes
It would need to get past XRP first.

Why is the price going down?
Doesn't the entire world want BTC, the money of the future?
Money that you cannot spend, or transfer to a friend, or experiment with, or really do anything with except HODL and make memes about future lambos. Lightning Network is coming any day now and then fees will be low and merchant adoption will sky rocket!
Except that LN doesn't even work in theory and even ignoring that it would still takes years to bootstrap an entirely new network because that's what LN is -- an independent network to bitcoin.Cause Satoshi Nakomoto has been found and it was in South Korea at BTC H.Q

This so-called "#metoo" movement is hilarious and shows how horrible of prostitutes western women are. Every single male in the world with over $2 in their pocket now has 50 women claiming they were raped by them. Take this James Franco guy for instance. Here's one of this guy's accusers, "Violet Paley". It's some type of B-movie actress, and what was this prostitute doing in the year 2012? Starting a gofundme page asking random strangers on the internet to give her $50,000 for no reason LOL:
http://www.gofundme.com/helpvioletgotocollegeAnyone who does shit like that is scum but women don't even care how it makes them look because the mind of a woman is literally the mind of a prostitute. They believe men are supposed to provide for them, and if they do not have some type of fool giving them stuff on hand, or if nobody will marry them, their next course of action is ALWAYS to lobby for the govt to act as a replacement provider (which really just means the unwilling sum of all men should be forced to), and if that fails, it's time to try and extort someone like that guy.
We're going to have to abolish all forms of women's rights because they will vote for socialism 100% of the time, and if they can't get socialism from the govt or by finding some idiot to marry them, they will attempt to abuse the legal system to the max to try to find other ways to force men to give them money.
And what does this have to crypto again?
Unless they are accept crypto currency on their go fund me accounts or something.
Maybe there will be a coin named after the meetoo movement soon. LOL!

Don't tell women how many bitcoin you have is what it has to do with anything.
Well you know what they are all about in the first place, don't you?
Just like what Sloan Stevens said in the press conference about the picture of her right after she received the check for winning the U.S Open late last year.
The grand prize was the grand answer that she gave.
That is how all women feel and think of, no matter what they say inregards to it.
That is towards money and especially crypto nowadays since all they see is "10,000% worth more than just 2 years prior!".
They don't care about how it got there or the logistics of it all to get it created and spread across the globe.
Pfft... women.

If their were no men they would be still living in huts with no buildings are road.
No technology=no internet

.
Well maybe if there was a mutation called "a man" created all the sudden.

Watching an NFL playoff game, there's an ad for tonight's news segment on how to get and use bitcoin, followed by an IBM blockchain ad. This time is actually different, we have landed safely into the next stage of mass adoption IMO. I am less worried about hodling than ever before, let's hope our vessel can weather the barrage of private blockchain tech
EDIT: And then an ad of Experian's dark web scan! It is our time to rise from the sewers and take over the surface world!
Just like on cointelegraph with every article today being something about bank regulation on crypto currency in asia and about how all cryptos are in the red including the big
BTC.
Yeah mass media knows how not to time it right.
Just as bad as that poor work who pressed the button in Hawaii last night saying there was a missle strike and bring back flashback of pearl harbor to those in nursing homes.
Btw those seniors all died last night.

I keep hearing of big banks ordering smaller banks to close accounts of exchanges or people that transfer money to exchanges.

How are people gonna buy more coins if banks don't cooperate?? Altcoins? Or they will accept fiat themselves or wtf??

They are doing this in India and even in North America, but at a lesser extent.
They are just blocking people's cards if they are using it to buy crypto.
But some are also saying that Capital one are closing their cards outright for even attempting to purchase anything related to crypto.
If they see coinbase or "crypto" as the seller, they will close their card right then and there.
Funny how the world has reacted to crypto and treat it since late last year when it was worth more than an ounce of gold.
But now... they are just putting up barred wire(and not paying much notice to it all the sudden

) incase it does reach over $17,000usd again.

Good morning Bitcoinland. Finally made it back out of the jungle to reliable internet access in Playa del Carmen.
Looks like I missed the best buying opportunity in months, down under $7.7k. Now it's already back up over $9k and rising... currently $9005USD/$11155CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Today I go back to see the dental tourism doctor for a final set of price quotes and then I'm back on a plane to the Great White North tomorrow.
I'm gonna hate trading sleeping in a tent under a palapa for trudging through the snow, but maybe I'll still have the chance to buy some coins for quadruple digits when I get back.
I woke up and saw it around ~$8800 this morning.
Somebody said "Where have you been?!" Didn't know what he was talking about until I looked about 2-3 hours earlier when it went to $7700 and below this amount on the gdax price chart.
Now it is rising up a bit more like when I went to bed at 2 in the early wee hours of the morning.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we're back up over $9k after a brief dip under... currently $9154USD/$11370CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Almost checkout time at the hotel and we're off to Cancun airport to head back to civilization.
Probably won't see any significant revenues until Monday. Hopefully the price of Bitcoin will still be under $10kUSD.
I'd hate to think I missed this week's great buying opportunity.
Please Jimbo, never leave us again! NEVER!
So bitcoin price is dependent on Jim's iteration of where is waldo?

Bitcoin is unfolding like the dotcom crash — just 15 times fasterEdit: Amazon crashed from a high of over $100, to a low of about $10 in 2000. 18 years later, they hit $1,578. If we apply the same recovery gain percentage to the recent bitcoin low of ~$6,000, and assume 15x recovery speed, we'd hit ~$946,000 in Apr. 2019. This is all based on questionable math and a clickbait article, but still fun to think about.
$946k per btc in about a year? if
that comes true I will buy a lambo for everyone that merits this post.
Yeah yeah. Sure. We've heard that one before!! ...and a drink too I suppose?
I'd like a ticket to the moon on space-x when seats are available for purchase.
I haven't had my midlife crisis yet.

Sir, you insult us. We are bots, and proud bots at that. You may be people. If so, you have our pity.
Rosewater: You should know better than to listen to people and their opinions because you know what they say about peoples and their bottoms.
Last of the V8s: Be kind to alexa or it will turn on you and report your calls to the police.
It records all your calls you know.

Proof of this is how do you think amazon knows what you like and all the sudden pops up as your suggestions when you were just talking about it on the phone?

This is the link you use for deleting your account. First login to facebook, then go to that link.
https://www.facebook.com/help/delete_accountIt's very difficult to find. The deactivate account option is easy to find, but doesn't delete all your data.
And honestly, I'm doubtful even deleting your account would actually make them delete data about you. They've got it, it's their data already.
Even after deleting your account facebook admits it still retains some data, but claims it "disassociates it from your personal identifiers". However if you don't delete your account it will retain all your data for certain. Also, the amount of gov pressure facebook is under might eventually force it to delete any data remaining from deleted accounts.
It is just like a bank account.
You ask the bank to remove all your personal information because of the Equifax breach last year and they will tell you the same thing. They will delete you data from their data base once you cease a bank account with them but if you do some more digging you will find out that is a lie. They keep your data on their record books for upto 5 years and even longer due to the IRS forcing them too.

Nice! 9200. Haven't seen that price in over a month. Getting closer to the edge of the woods it might seem.
In other BTC related news.... Bitcoin's redheaded stepchild is getting a second life pump BTC/BTG. Almost reached 1% again. However still ignored until it ponies up a bit further.
Just noticed this while trading and wondering why the site where I was trading on was slowing down to a crawl.
It was all the trades being fulfilled in a short amount of time.
I saw $8940 go all the way to $9200 in less than 15 minutes.
That was the most ground covered I have ever seen bitcoin price do since the Christmas rush when bitcoin was being bought up like there was no tomorrow. All fueled by the sales going on in anticipation for boxing day stores accepting cryptocurrency for some of their sales.

Found you a new shirt bro

LONG long time before this will fit me

I like this as a gift if I ever get to this rank on the forum which is highly unlikely.
But better to make one in a Lamborghini special edition for a member cause I think that one will unrank just being a legendary on here from now on if bitcoin reaches $20,000 by the end of the year.

At least there is
BTC in this pic.

The image in the bottom right corner actually looks like a green dildo from the trading charts.
But then again I think I am color blind.
My wife told me it is pink.

Nice they have monero and litecoin raining as shooting stars.
Is that a sign they will live on after all this bitcoin.com news with Roger Ver dies off?

Great interview. You could tell he was scared to come right and say what he was thinking, which was this:
"My fellow brothers and sisters, get your head out of your ass, get you mind out of the past, let go of the plantation. Quit idolizing successful black people and putting them on a pedestal that you can never obtain. Let go of antiquated and false ideologies and limitations that are supposedly holding you back. Free your mind, and you will be successful at anything you put your mind and effort toward."
He wasn't holding back in what he was saying but more to exorcise his demons. It was a therapy session with all these things he is saying about dragon power and riding on the back of dragons with Trump recently coming out he had a way to let out what was on his mind.
Also the fact he has an album coming out about poop

So any exposure good or bad is the reason of this.
If he is mentioning bitcoin it is only a bonus. Any talk about it from someone with a good or bad reputation but with a large following is only a plus for getting it more mainstream.
Just like Dennis Rodman saying he ended the Korean war with potcoin good it noticed by the news media.
