uk might rally short term, but it's got to be a target for attacks on the pound. look at all the sterling work our socialist neanderthal cousins are already putting in.
all countries are fucked though, uk just hastened the process.
hope the pound takes a royal beating...UK property would look very juicy with a super devalued pound.
there are worse places to purchase property; uk market = solid transparent rules based property market with good infrastructure that welcomes foreigners

Don't know why people keep using total number of infected. It makes no sense. Some of those people are going to die.

there is no immutable law that says healthcare can't be free and great or that social healthcare can't be done in a capitalist society and still have plenty left over...some things simply should not be left to the free market...if you don't believe that then why not have fucking Mcdonalds educate your children??? or Amazon? I am sure they would jump at the chance...

Yes there is. Medicine doesn't produce itself, buildings don't spring out of the ground, and doctors and nurses do. not. work. for. free. Shit costs money.
Well that's what taxes are for...every place I've ever lived take a chunk of it annually...more than enough to pay for lots of things $$$
Why waste the money on some social reject gov workers to watch cat videos all day...let the machines take those jobs...
also maybe stop the war on drugs and tax it and you will have more money to go around. private health insurance (I have it BTW) is a shit system with lots of flaws...you need it from birth for a start or you are screwed...once you're locked into a health insurance provider and get sick you can't change or all your pre-existing conditions are not covered. plus there are plenty of loopholes. Sorry I don't want to trust my health to some weirdo private company only. there should be a mixed system at the very least.
let the uber rich pay for that uber luxurious private hospital where they get a blowie from the nurse daily...
as for the common folk, and non zuckerbug types, they want some basic medical coverage as well...which doesn't require getting bummed by some big corporation your whole life, where you live in fear of losing your 9 to 5, just so you won't lose ur medical coverage

agree completely, just wish taxes were more transparent and on the block chain so we could see where the money gets spent.
am sure it would help so much with accountability.
it can be free or almost free for some people though...you can argue that one way or another someone pays time or money or labor to fund it
