To me, it seems that Bitcoin is resting on the 6mo-exp trendline with low volume, and $.12 is the new $0.005.
There is not much to do then hold (= buy bitcoins with everything that you can spare).
It is becoming unlikely that we'll see $300 this year.
I am fine, thank you.
Welcome back sir!

I haven't ignored wal/jaro for the comedy. But I'm seriously starting to wonder what kind of psych-profile would posses someone to expend so much time/energy on a consistent troll account(s) like that. What issues would one posses that would be alleviated? Mind blowing/sad to me, probably hold-against-your-will ward bed worthy. Not the place, but I'm genuinely interested. Probably some good research done on the topic.
Edit: I realize this reads like a bait..not the intention

Meanwhile, btc steadily rises. I'll guess its 'buy the dip' for now.
Right up until someone decides to buy the wall on $125, then I suspect it's going to go crazy for a while.
May not matter; this move started on bitstamp & campbx (see quote below). Makes sense... nobody in their right mind would send deposits to Gox to buy coin both due to the admitted delays in deposit AND the high premium. But this is a key event in the breakaway of Gox as leader.
I think we may see cbx and bitstamp approach Gox -- as the other exchanges close the gap, more GoxUSD will buy BTC to get it out at a loss acceptable to each individual. If cbx/bitstamp closes the gap entirely, it could get us to the strange situation where there is a LOT of buy orders on Gox, few BTC for sale, but no price movement. In other words, Gox starts following cbx/bitstamp even though it has the largest order book.
On a side note: I'm a huge supporter of CampBx - based in US, demonstrated ability to comply with state/fed regulations, major recent upgrade to hardware.

We'll yeah, but the point is that most of the western books look like they're in a holding pattern with nobody willing to provide any depth near the spot price. BTCChina, on the other hand, has healthy depth building on the bids side. That doesn't really tell you where things will go, but it is, I think, and indication that at the very least there should be significant movement one way or the other soon. Sellers could look at it as a chance to liquidate significant amounts without much slippage, which would probably push the price downward. Buyers might look at is as building competition for bitcoins, which could induce a healthy round of buying if somebody decides to break ranks and buy into the sell orders. So there you go.
I was just being obtuse

In all honesty, you're right, we are going to break out of this channel fairly soon. My guess is downward- we have yet to test the previous highs of ~$260. I think this will happen before the end of the weekend.

Bitamp is higher than Gox, that is usually bullish, isn't it?
Does it mean that the value of being stuck with fiat on gox is higher than the value of fiat on Bitstamp?
It only means that the fiat arrived really late @ stamp
A few are still waiting (transferred more then a week ago).
I'll wait till something happens with BTCChina. Hopefully enough bulls push the price above BTCChina levels and some clever
whales cash out with big arbitrage profits.Panic selling starts -> whales can buy cheap goins again -> double win
Buying now is more risky than fucking a street hoker without a condom.
This, we are in dangerous times right now with exchanges out of sync

TL;DR Translation: Satoshi Nakamoto located and apprehended by Chinese government. Was carrying emergency bitcoin shutoff code. Chinese government plans to use code to shutdown bitcoin network. Satoshi charged with criminal economic disruption.
Coindesk is getting ready to publish an article corroborating this news from internal sources. This is the end guys.
THATS BAD NEWS!!! SHIT!!!
If you don't read Chinese, click the link. You'll see some Chinese writing. Also, I mentioned "sources". This is undeniable. Tell your friends. Sell your bitcoins.
SELL!

Denial at an all time high in here. It's a bubble guys, it's happened multiple times over the last few years, this is how Bitcoin is going to grow, each bubble less severe than the last (on a percentage basis), until it stops. Trying to fight the trend is going to get you hurt. Keep in mind we are STILL 10x the low point of this summer, which was ~7x where we started the year.
Just this year:
$10 -> $260 -> $70 -> $1200 -> $300-500? ->
Sell your coins and buy back in when the dust has settled

If btc settles at $10,000 it will have fallen from a much higher number, and people will be crying crash..
