Can you guys at least f*cking focus on the current buy/sell statistics? That's what I'm here for.
All these useless predictions are really driving the level of this thread down. Everyone is calling new future lows for what? To be able to say 'I told you so' later?

Who the f.ck is selling sub 9k Oo
Makes no sense to me
Why not? Makes me feel more comfortable. Bought initially at 2k, sell at 9k. See it dip to 5k. Go all-in again. See rise to 20k.
Should have sold at 20k, but ah well. Win some, lose some.

So much wishful thinking… Why a new ATH in summer? Any idea how much money needs to come in, and how much hype must be recreated? People who lost money now will most likely not reinvest, so count them out. Sure, weak hands, but those weak hands got the price up for all of us.
Not being a pessimist, but posting moon memes isn't cutting it for me.
Hold some, sell some to be safe, and hope for better times. I do think (hope!) it will rise again, but have absolutely no idea about tops or bottoms.

Then, I will buy up all the cheap Bitcorns, and ride the rocket back to moon when the SAVAGE AND BLOODY CAPITULATION is complete.
Amen.

We don't like to gamble.
I can understand. But I see it as the same risk (as god knows if it will go up or down) as keeping it now.
I prefer taking some profit now and be able to buy back when it hits the true bottom. Or buy back on its way up again, even for a higher price. The difference in price is the cost of my insurrance.

You dont need to sell everything. You can sell a small part to buy back at the bottom.
Its the same way when you put 5-10% of your bitcoins in a altcoin exchange, you go there to increase your bitcoins, not because you have faith in some random white paper.
I agree with your tactic. Personally I keep my altcoin portfolio intact, except for ripple (sold that one as well). Sold all the bitcoins for now. Tomorrow will be an exciting day. I've set my buy-back targets at 4500 USD
or 8750 USD. It can hurt, or it can be a win. But either way, $ are in the bank.

I never did any all in/all outs since
Mt.Gox. My strategy is dollar cost averaging. I buy some every month. Sometimes I buy from the top, sometimes I buy from the bottom.
Works fine for me.

For me to stop falling would be good enough.
Personally I would feel most comfortable at multiple weeks of stability, and then to start rising again.
This massive down followed by a potential massive up make me feel uncomfortable.

Normally I'm pretty cool, able to laugh away these kind of movements.
I have to say these recent weeks and especially the last 24 hours have made me a little less comfortable... or even slightly worried. Gains come very slowly only to be wiped away at rate 2.0 in a couple of hours. I'm just a newbie with about a year of experience, but this seems more intense. What makes me even more concerned is that, even though I try to read a lot of stuff from 'experts' in this field, I've seen absolutely 0 in advance about the possible dumping of MtGox coins. Could have seen that one comming, right?

The effect is that since they're "unbacked" (it's just a money game), those with the deepest pockets can move their price however they like, like they have been doing with precious metals.
Thanks.
