So the folks who want 2Mb don't trust the SegWit people not to break away after SegWit is locked and block a later block size increase?

Sounds understandable given the emotionalism on this issue. It would be very disruptive to activate SegWit and then deactivate it before LOCK. Seems unlikely the miners would do this. It seems far more likely that the SegWit folks would increase their opposition to a block size increase to 2 Mb once they already have what they want.

I am not understanding why this is not a reasonable roadmap forward.

And for buying and selling, sometimes when I am placing limit buy's or sells it seems like bots are immediately always putting some coins above / below me or with a highly fluctuating market it can be a bit tedious to buy or sell. Does anybody know of a good bot which I can just tell to buy now slightly below "market price" and if the market fluctuates it automatically cancels and reset the limit buy? / Anybody got experience with bots in general?

On Stamp, Seems to me we need to break 2552 before a correction can take place and perhaps 2560.  Taking out 2525 was entertaining to watch.  Someone kept dumping 20-50 btc at a time on 2525 when it got shallow. Seems like an effort to wear out the buyers.

A very short summary of what you need to do:

1. Ensure that you have no BTC deposited with a Bitcoin bank or other trusted third-party before Aug 1. If there's no technical way for you to export the private keys for your BTC, then that BTC is at risk. In two days both of our btc1 nodes have crashed twice with "segmentation violation" errors. Our production core nodes have not crashed at all in months of operation.

Is there an ETA for when this will be fixed?

It's difficult to tell if this is fixed or not without knowing what's causing the SEG fault.

Can you do what @jgarzik suggested and run it using gdb so we can see a backtrace?
Segmentation faults are not something we want happening on mainnet so this should be resolved ASAP IMO.

The current ATH for Bitstamp is $2980. We got very close to it yesterday, but the price was going way too quickly and was not sustainable. I think that a new number may be possible, very shortly. Therefore:
New ATH: July 24. 2017 (even if entries can't have the same date?).
Reason: BIP91 activates in ~250 blocks and the reached price yesterday.
